Location and price were the reasons I chose this site.

Checking in was chaotic. First room given had not been cleaned. Second room given: door key didn't work. Third time successful. Room was fine although in need of maintenance for a couple of broken/deteriorated items. Returning to room the second night and the room key once again would not work, requiring a fourth visit to the front desk.

Comfortable but not perfect

I like the staff and the free breakfast.

the bathroom was so small I’m a large woman. It smelled like mildew in my room the carpet felt sticky had to wear socks the entire time. The table and counters were sticky eve after I wiped down with wipes. I loved the guy that works at night. He was so nice and accommodating of my late arrival. I asked that my trash be emptied Dailey but that was not done.

Sadly the soda vending machine did not have Coke Zero, the desk in the room was very sticky, seems to me it needs to be replaced. I did try to wipe the stickiness with my disinfecting wipes but it was the paint on the desk that was sticky, it was not “dirty”. The AC only lowered to 70 degrees on cool but it could of been the outside temp was cooler.

This property is okay for a short stay.

Just needed a bed and bath for the night to attend an event the next day. This was nearby and fit the bill perfectly. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was okay.

Our room was in another building and was quite a hike to get to. I have a bad hip, and the uneven floors made it difficult to walk to the room. There was trash sitting in bags in the hallway outside some of the rooms. That was unsightly and probably unhealthy.

Very dated motel in poor condition.

The heater/aircon unit was right next to one of the beds. As it was hot we used it but it was loud and right next to the beds, too loud while trying to sleep and right next to your ear. Not good placement. The noise wouldn’t have been an issue if it was literally right next to you.

Power outage 3 days in a row but still trucking bc of the great staff and great Beds make breakfast

Nothing besides power outages three days in a row to me we couldn't get into my room and we're out of it a lot and I could we use any amenities or watch television or use the air conditioning in Texas which is honestly the worst thing ever and our phones pretty much died too so we can use them or watch anything on them to keep us busy nor can we go out and buy food and everything in our fridge was spoiled

The carpet in the hallways looked dirty, the room smelled damp and moldy, the room was unkempt, the lamps had scale and did not work to charge, the sheet had a stain like blood To top it off, the tray where they put the eggs was already covered in tartar from the old days. In short, the person with experience for a similar price found better options

Dirty.

The location was okay and the staff were nice.

My room was not clean, the towels weren’t clean. There was make up on one towel and I don’t know what else on the other ones. The bathroom floor definitely had pee on the it so that was gross. The desk wasn’t wiped down, there was something sticky on there, it just wasn’t clean. I was disappointed especially considering the price. I try not to complain cause I don’t want to be that person, but honestly I wouldn’t stay there again nor would I recommend it. I paid way more than I would’ve liked to for the quality of cleanliness I got. The staff was very nice at check in, breakfast, and check out. But I guess my only advice would be to clean the rooms better.

I loved the location of this Best Western, definitely in a prime location with a safe neighborhood .

I loved the location and that it included breakfast.

I did NOT like that the bathroom was way too small, every time we closed the door it hit the toilet and there was literally a dent in the door from where it hit all the time. I found some previous guests' shoes in the dresser which tells me that the cleanliness wasn't so thorough.

Fun and relaxing!

The location was perfect. Not far from Downtown Houston or Galveston. Plus food and stores are close by as well.

You can hear literally everything outside your room. Doors shutting or people talking, etc. But it doesn't last long, mainly when people are leaving in the morning and coming in at night.
