Good stay and good location.

Hotel is in good location, close to food and minutes to pier and beach. Room is nice and clean, comfortable and has all amenities. Overall was a good stay.

I had to add a night stay so had two bookings and they couldn't just charge me one deposit once I was checking in so I needed to pay cash deposit to get it back the next day and add it to my 2nd booking but I had to go to the bank to get out cash for the deposit, a little frustrating.

The staff was very kind with my daughter & 2 cats during our stary, we had to extend our stay 3 time fleeing from domestic abuse and stealing her SSDI $.My daughter actually did vac daily for the maid with their great equipment to keep it clean. They were very sweet!

Frustrating management rules that I’ve never experienced before and hope to never occur in the future.

The woman who checked us in found a room for us on the first floor because my wife couldn’t climb the stairs in the section of the facility that didn’t have elevator access.

$200 cash deposit requirement, no elevator for south side of hotel rooms, refused to give me a printed copy of my receipt when requested, requirement by management that my wife and daughter needed to provide their driver’s license too even though I was the one checking in and paying for the room.

Didn’t stay, We didn’t even take our luggage out of the car

The whole place smelled, the floor was dirt, the screen on the window was bent like it had been pried off before and the hotel is not in a good area. My family wasn’t comfortable staying so we canceled our reservation and was told we’d hear from the owner but it’s been over two weeks and nothing. Every time I call they tell me she’s very busy and will call back. I don’t recommend staying there.

Scam alert! the owner is a fraud and stole my deposit

This is a hotel , when i wemt there to chevk in they asked to pay a deposit and they said its refundable . Bit the hotel has alot of animals like dogs and cats and I have allregy I did not stay in this hotel ; they have made me very bad position and the owmer acvused me with a lie and she said that she will not return my deposit ! And she will not return my money . She blamed with me something that she lied and she called me the same day after I left, i was in the casino next door ; she said that she will not refund my money and she satrted harrsing me on the phone, i called back she did not answer . I have the entire mesaging. She not only took $200 also she did not return the actual $99 either. I lost a whole day and after the phone amd tect harrasment Imlost all my money ! I dod not get this service and i really want my money back.

Nothing

No parking. No breakfast. Dirty sheets with blood on it. Rude staff. Air conditioner that sounds like airplane taking off. I could continue but I’m trying to block the experience.

INCREDIBLY worth the price and met all of our needs and more.

The location was great, the room was really clean and the bathroom was huge for the price that we paid and it felt pretty luxurious. The TV had a ton of channels which was nice, there was an elevator right next to our room, we had AC which was a HUGE plus! The room even smelled clean which is a small detail but made a huge difference. The staff at the front desk were very efficient and I have never had such a quick check in and check out before.

The toilet dripped a little in the back and there was a fist sized paint chip on one of the walls but that didn’t hinder anything in our stay and we still had a good time.

Nice walk to the Pier.

The room is cleaner and more comfortable than expected. I had an event at Oceanside pier and it's a one mile, straight-shot walk to the pier. But it's a nice walk with lots of stores and restaurants along the way, just be careful of interstate 5 traffic when you cross. There are designated crosswalks, but SoCal drivers are crazy! But my sleep quality was good. There's a fridge, microwave and safe which I LOVE! And the ladies that checked me in were very nice. And there is a bit of a breakfast, just some grab and go munchies to the left of the front desk.

Nothing. All good!! I'd definitely stay here again. Oceanside is a very relaxing place. Please explore.

Wirt hotel staff in CA

Nothing. The desk clerk was aggressive and rude. She was young and unprofessional with poor communication skills, that when questioned for clarity became foul. She lied to the manager. The misunderstanding was over the deposit which she did not explain could be returned right away if paid in cash. I had two days reserved which she wouldn't fold into one reservation, telling me I would pay two deposits of 200. I told her I wouldn't be able to stay the second night. I was surprised but not angry. I'm a HS teacher for 30 years, I don't argue with ignorant, loud people. Her friend behind the desk called me a stupid white bitch and they were showing off for each other. She then abruptly canceled my room after I paid, leaving me without almost 400$.

After she ran on lying to her manager, the manager reluctantly spoke with me, interrupting me, not believing me and then accusing me of not listening when I asked questions. She was aggressive and even nasty, refusing to make me to stay there, although I was still trying to compromise. I did make a comment she had no business being a manager and she doesn't. They should be maids and be retrained to work with the public and represent Ramada/Wyndham. I am a CA educator with a master's degree, had my granddaughter with me. I was visiting family in my hometown. I had taught math for 5 years right across the street. I left crying and feeling stranded. My bank was closed. It was 4th of July. The girl laughed at me as I left. Other people, you g people, maybe not employees, were hanging around. I don't call for anyone to lose their job, but this can't be an isolated incident. She was upset I caught her lying, not having been clear about the deposits, claiming then to her manager that she'd been clear. If I had been beligerant or offensive, I would say so. If I had scolded her, she would have deserved it. I didn't. She was showing off and acting "ghetto". And I'm not white, I am a Chicana, and was also traveling to meet a shelter director from the border because I run a non profit for deported mothers and refugees since 2020. That's who they attacked and ridiculed. I stay in hotels almost every month, Wyndham, but not the cheaper Ramada. I know what decent service, kindness and consideration should be. I'm also a senior with a disability that they bullied. I suffered a panic attack in the car in front of a 24 year old. Shameful!

Good Location and low noice

The young lady at the office was not friendly at all. She talked down to me because I was 20 minutes late to check out. She had no consideration that I was on a wheel chair and a walking cane. I sent my wife to check out and get my $200 deposit, but the front desk lady sent her away and told her that I needed to be present to get my deposit, And my wife felt scolded and embarrassed by your staff.

This location is always clean and the owner is usually on site and nice.. they’ll take you deposit in cash so you can get it back right after check out. I also like that they don’t use cheap hotel soap..

My husband tried to check in for me and the front girl had an attitude and said no so he waited a whole hour for me to get there..

The front desk clerk wrote the WiFi password down wrong. The WiFi is not strong enough. I could not stream or peruse websites. The TV remote control’s volume button didn’t work. The TV signal went on and off. The drain in the shower is broken-water was up to my ankles. The pillows feel like bags of soft tennis balls. The outlet by the bed’s holes are too wide to keep prongs in. I stepped on a wet gummy candy.

It was centrally located near the beach. Clean property with a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed that you did need a key card to access the elevator, in its own way it brings an extra sense of security knowing not just anyone can access the rooms on all floors.
