Room I was giving had a hole in the door the heater/ac was hanging off the wall and taped with duck tape, tweakers stay there they were screaming it was disgusting I went straight back to the office and got a refund

Owner was really nice and clean, affordable and quiet.

They need a remodel and upgraded doors and locks . Still using A keyed lock like you have at home but upon a closer inspection of the door itself it had obviously been kicked in before or possibly open by a police knocker. I work construction and a 10yr old could've forced the door if they needed to . Like I said it was quiet or I might've been worried about going to sleep with my door open. If an intruder only wanted inaside a little bit it would've been easy peasy . You should get new doors and locks just saying.

Won’t stay there again

The room was the least expensive in town

The room doors didn’t lock right, and look like they had been pried open several times (2 rooms) after being moved because the first door wouldn’t close at all. The owner had me come back with cash because the card machine wasn’t working, then I had to come back to get my deposit and change. The cleaner came in, even after I told her I wanted a do not disturb sign and no need to clean the room.

Very clean and safe. It's a great basic hotel. And the tub was very nicely sized; great soak!

They don't really offer a breakfast. Just some overly ripe bananas and basic coffee. I like how clean the room is, and how responsive the front desk people are. This hotel is a 180 from that dump down the street The La Grande Inn, which was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The Royal Motor Inn is run by a very kind and attentive couple. I had an issue with my desk chair and they addressed it immediately. The room is spotless and comfortable. It's an older hotel and shows some age, but the owners really put their best foot forward to make it a great stay! I heartily recommend it, and the location for access to downtown La Grande absolutely cannot be beat!

Loved staying here. I wish I had more time to explore La Grande.

The location is right by a restaurant and coffee place. The owner was amazing and extremely helpful. She upgraded my room to a downstairs King, so I wouldn't have to carry by printer with the chairs. (Which I greatly appreciated.)

I wish the parking lot was bigger and had more lighting.

didn’t have regular sized towels nor was there enough towels for 4 people in a two bed room, front desk was very rude and the lady at desk over charged me and when I mentioned it she hid the money and wouldn’t fully count it in front of me.

It's a very basic Motor Inn where one 's need are a microwave, Fridge, bed and bath for 1 night. Especially good when traveling through.

Short!

Room appeared clean. There was a micro and fridge, 2 towels, 2 hand towels, 2 wash clothes, 4 cups. King size bed was comfortable. Close to downtown but street noise decreased by 10pm.

There wasn't any soap! Deadbolt on door took a lot of pressure to lock. Easy footsteps, toilet flush, shower in room above and next door. No breakfast, suspect maybe coffee in the office but we left very early so don't know.
