The Landing Hotel and Dining

A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. They made sure I got a shot at a second drink before closing as well. The rooms are delightfully furnished and the bathrooms are a standout feature. As they mention on premises, this place is 100 years old and has the same radiator system as built with. As it got going around 10 pm, it made some laugh out loud banging noises worthy of a movie scene. But that was the only time I heard anything from it. And the room temp was very comfortable. The bed. The bed in #3 gave me the best night sleep I’d had in a couple of weeks. Slept right through my 7 AM call. Highly recommended. 10/10.

My husband stayed there for his business trip. He can’t wait to stay again next year. He said it was so clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. Thank you!!

Comfortable, quiet, and accommodating as always! Great location with morning coffee and nice place to get work done in The Local right across the street.
