Nice hotel, good location and good value

Very nice hotel, in a quiet neighborhood. Everything looked very new, and everything worked well. Parking is free and there were plenty of parking spaces even though I arrived late in the evening. I had breakfast from the restaurant in the morning and it was better than expected and prices were reasonable.

Breakfast is served from 6am - or that was what the sign said. I went down for breakfast 6:15 but the restaurant was closed. According to the receptionist the staff hadn’t arrived yet. So I can back at 7am and still same story, except the kitchen staff hadn’t arrived arrived, but no servers, so still closed. After a while the receptionist took my order and I got the food to-go. I think the restaurant opened up around 8am - 2 hours too late. This is not good when you rely on getting an early breakfast before you have to get out.

Pool and decor, very clean. Check in person was pleasant.

Only 2 towels and when called to ask for more they never brought them. Bed was very uncomfortable. Never saw anyone at the bar the few times we passed by.

Overall good except for the fitst encounter

Breakfast was good,

when we arrived and considering we had been traveling all day from the east coast and combined with flight delays we were not able to eat anything. When we arrived at the hotel it was 9:50 PM, and let the front desk now. They stated to order before checking in, when we looked at the menu and decided on what we wanted the person behind the bar was no where to be found. After waiting 10 - 12 minutes he shows up and when we tried to order he stated kitchen was closed. Not a good way to start the visit. Not happy with that at all!!!!

Power out. Poor communication.

Electricity went out. The clock, phone, outlets. I was on a business trip and this really messed up my trip. No one communicated about this, which also made the elevator inoperable. I had to shave, prepare, get dressed in my suit & tie without lighting. No iron, a d no hair dryer. I was not charged, but the had to complain. Terrible service. Things go wrong. Not trying to fix them and not communicating was the downfall.

Do not stay here

Nothing, from interrupting the desk clerks workout to it being completely empty and the overall vibe was very creepy. The hotel smelled like sawdust. They even offered masks for the smell.

All of the above. It was a very poor experience. We got into the room and in 15 minutes we decided we were not going to sleep there and we left. The bed didn't have a fitted sheet, the mattress was extremely lumpy and the furniture was plain worn out.

Worst stay ever, no hot water and didn't drain. Construction on half the floor you stay on is idiocy

Color of the building not near the pictures online, shockingly different(old). Driving in, knee high weeds in all the flowerbeds. Closed 1st, 3rd and 4th floors for construction, yet tearing apart rooms on the only floor(2nd) guests stay! No barrier, you literally get off the elevator and see construction dust everywhere down the hallway. No toilet paper or ice bucket. Shower not only didn't get hot, it wouldn't drain. Front desk said I could get another key and shower in a different room. Talked to another guest with almost as many problems, wasn't just me. This place really sucks.
