Hampton Inn & Suites Danville

The location of this hotel suited our purposes perfectly. Breakfast was adequate. Otherwise, it was a below average place to sleep.

Paid $174 for one night here while in town for a funeral. Specifically chose this hotel because it boasted a better breakfast than most others in the area and a hot tub. The pool and hot tub were, and still are, listed as amenities. Upon checking in we were told it is undergoing renovations and is closed until further notice. We were offered to go down the street to a different hotel to use their indoor pool. Nope. Not going to go outside while wet when the temperatures are in the teens, especially when the other hotel had no hot tub. This was a terrible replacement, and had zero value for us. We paid a premium to have the use of a hot tub, and did not get to. This was a $120 per night hotel at best. The lobby and breakfast area looked fine, but the carpet was torn in the hallways, especially at the elevator. Our bathroom had a moldy smell and had visible mold all over the ceiling. The beds were hard as rocks. The bar in the closet had about 1/2 inch of clearance, so barely functional. Ice machine was broken on several floors, and water filler did not work. It was a terrible night's sleep, and we were happy to leave.

1 thing the people that work there are rude and notattentive,One thing that really upset us was the pool and hot tub did not work. that is false advertisem, i was told its not there responsibility to tell the customer. the manger said i could go across the street to the other motel to use that one.

Our air conditioner was out at home and we were at a funeral earlier in the day so we decided to go to a hotel for the night. Booking.com said there was a pool at this location, which was the entire reason we went there. When we arrived the woman at the front desk said the hotel was being renovated and we could not use the pool. We were all looking forward to swimming for the evening and we were not able to but the only solution they had was to transfer us next door to their sister hotel and their pool was being worked on too. I understand things like this happen but I feel like it should have been somewhere on your website so we didn’t waste time and money.

No pool Shower handles kept falling apart when we were showering Bathtub did not drain well so you had to stand in a couple inches of water to shower Wi-Fi was hard to work
