Great location and friendly staff

The location was excellent, it is a good middle point for moving across Portland and the hiking spots around the city. I had to work some days of my stay and the WiFi was absolutely great.

The limited variety of the breakfast options, there weren’t really healthy options unless the egg, and almost everything had sugar or dairy. We’re not that picky but we are aware of other people’s dietary needs/preferences.

Location and shuttle to airport were great!

Alarm clock went off at MIDNIGHT when we had to be up at 4:00, so made for a pretty short night!

Decent hotel for a short stay just mind the Vagbonds.

Clean rooms, professional staff, decent breakfast choices. Overall the stay for the price was great. Not much to complain about and would definitely stay again.

The beds were a little too firm for my taste. Also the property does their best to keep the parking lot safe and the property is secure, but man there were a lot of transient people traveling through the area.

The staff were great and accommodating. Enjoyed the breakfast, especially the waffles. Location was convenient for our personal choice.

The room can use a USB for chargeable items, for phones. New towels would be great, it was thin. It was difficult to get out of parking due to traffic starting at 1700.

It met all our needs for a trip to visit friends and family in the area.

We had stayed at this hotel before. It is good value for the money. Although we rented a car this time, it is very close to a light rail station so you could travel to many locations in Portland using mass transit.

It is an older property, but everything seems to be well maintained.

Love this place!

Great location! The staff were super nice and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. During breakfast, the staff kept checking and refilling the food. There’s a pool and a jacuzzi, but we didn’t get a chance to use them. I especially loved the spiral staircase in the lobby. The Wi-Fi was very strong.

Overall, the room was clean, but the area around the faucet in the washroom wasn’t. The heater was a bit noisy, and the blackout curtains couldn’t close completely because there were no rails. However, those were all minor issues.

Good location to PDX

Great location and price, close to the airport without a lot of noise!

There was a mix up with shuttle time, you have to let them know the night before and they put us for a later time than we asked so we had to wait for the driver to be ready but overall everyone was very nice.

Our stay was perfect. The room was a suite. Clean and everything we needed. Their breakfast was top notch for a motel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was clean and inviting. Parking lot was clean. If we have events we need to go again in the area. This is my new favorite place to stay.

You get what you pay for

Pros: amenities available at counter (like shaving cream) were a nice convenience. The full-length mirror in the room was a plus.

Cons: Terrible Wi-Fi. No Movie channel in room. Breakfast bar food seemed very low quality. Breakfast bar employees were under-trained: 1) eating/drinking while working; 2) re-stocking supplies while people were dining, resulting in extra crowding and noise; 3) talking to each other in loud voices; 4) not pleasant/acknowledging guests. The plastic ware in the breakfast bar was chinzy. Other cons: quite unkept/dirty outside with trash on the sidewalk. Employees at front counter didn't seem happy or welcoming - possible they are underpaid and other reasons they don't like their jobs. I won't stay there again. I suppose "you get what you pay for", because the price was low for the rooms.

The staff was pleasant.

The pool and hot tub are green from scum and not the tiles in the bottom. Everything was falling apart. There were crank heads walking around the property at all hours. The shuttle couldn’t find us when we arrived. There was nothing left at breakfast to eat, a few scraps of bacon, some potatoes and enough batter to make half a waffle. The orange juice was slightly off color water. The bed was tiny and hard, there pillows were like rocks.

Tom saved the day.

Room, breakfast and bed were nice. BUT, I can't say enough nice things about the desk clerk, Tom. Booking.com had screwed up my reservation and would not cover the second room that I had paid for. I spent an hour on the phone with someone from booking.com to no avail. I finally canceled the second room with Tom's help and he was able to get me a discount that came close to the booking.com price. He spent time on the phone trying to help me with Booking. He brought us water and snacks. He went over and above what anyone else would do.

I don't know if I will use booking.com again. They did not satisfy my needs and the person on the phone, who I had to wait 20 mins to talk to a person after driving all day and another 40 mins talking to Karen T. Very disappointed. in booking.com

Like the bathtub the most in out suit and how big it was. It was beautiful and a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the food and all the amainiest. We will be staying again. Thank you, ohh, and Robin, who checked us in, was amazing that night. With all she had on her plate I might not have let anyone in, lol.

The water could of been a bit hotter for the jetted tub. The beds are very hard i like hard but they it felt way to hard. But I really enjoy taking hot hot shower and the hotel was completely booked so maybe that had something to do with it. Overall, no complaints we will be staying again. Thank you

The room was comfortable but by a freeway entrance that was noisy. Tried to block it with the air conditioning but that was louder than the cars. It is also near the airport so you could hear planes overhead and there was a train. Not conducive to a good nights sleep. The breakfast was adequate but was not kept at a safe temperature. I would probably go to Elmers if I stay here again.
