The shower drain backed up a little so when I finished, I rinsed off my feet from outside the shower. You may want to check that out. Also, the fridge was quite noisy so I unplugged it when I went to sleep and plugged it back in the next day. My items were cool enough in the morning so it was not a problem for me.

Excellent value option for passing though!

The hotel offers a no-nonsense room, very clean and warm reception. It's fine for a night passing though if you want to save about $75 from other, local options. Nothing fancy but they sure are friendly and there's plenty of parking plus being next door to the CHP office is comforting.

Always a great visit !

Everything, been going here for about 6 years, never had any real major issues. Staff is always respectful and polite, rooms are always clean, and the price is always the best when you get a mini fridge AND microwave with the room. There's no deposit and when it comes to breakfast, they provide muffins, OJ, and coffee; if you ask me that's a hell of a deal ! Always happy with my stay and thankful for this establishment!

This room had a microwave that seemed like it was going out, wasn't a big deal though and not the facilities fault, just appliances being appliances

Staff was friendly at check-in/check-out. Mattress was in a protective bag, so there weren't bed bugs.

I chose this hotel based on location to highway 99, and review score. I have no idea how the reviews for this property are so high. The bed was not comfortable, and I chose not to use the pillows because they were yellow and lumpy. The room was very hot and stuffy when I checked in, and it took a long time to cool down. A/C is loud. Neighborhood and some of the other guests seemed unsafe. Smoke detector did not flash, so I don't think it was working. I put the chair under the door handle and made sure the safety bar was in place before going to bed. I would have had a better night's rest at a truck stop or rest area inside my car. I would not stay here again.

Not weIcoming; checked in at 3:30pm and the lobby was locked, so had to use "Night window".

Not welcoming. The non-smoking room smelled of smoke. I asked housekeeping if the had a spray and she said no. I discovered that there was fire damage in adjoining building. Breakfast offerings were cheap packaged muffins, oatmeal, OJ, coffee, and hot water.

We like the comfortable bed and pillow, the room looks tidy.

smells old room, musty, and or smell of cigarette. Me and my wife are sensitive to dust/cigar smell. the smell of the room made our stay uncomfortable, that if i could have suspected it smells like it, we could have stayed at Best Western across the street for 50 more bucks. I wouldn't mind paying extra for a restful sleep.

Property is clean, quiet, easy-off Freeway. It’s south of (Sacramento) city center so you must factor in the distance and traffic if your driving or destination is north of the city center. The property is super clean, basic, yet very comfortable.

We looked for an economy priced room, and this was a pleasant surprise. Very clean and upgraded room

Clean, comfortable, enough space for two. Good coffee for breakfast. Refrigerator, microwave, TV. Good a/c-heater. Very nice staff.

Couple light switches weren't working or bulbs burnt out. Two shower heads in the shower--nice touch, but no choice to use one or the other. No shower caps so I didn't use the shower because I didn't want to get my hair wet. No amenities. Our room was next to the parking lot and faced the street, so I couldn't leave our window shades open for sunlight. But the parking was convenient.

I was in room 135 and the floor closest to the bathroom was warm, which means in order to keep the room from getting too hot. I had to turn on the air conditioning.
