Motel 6-Sacramento, CA - South Sacramento and Elk Grove

I didnt really like anything. The women at the front desk was really nice but they didnt have change so I paid extra for no reason other than they couldn't give me change.

I paid 100 dollars for a room that the floors were peeling up and had been taped down to try and stop it. The tape was ridiculous. The bed smelled like body odor and more specifically it smelled like straight up rotten feet. The shower smelled of mildew and mold, the place was awful.

It was lovely. They upgraded me to a suite. I loved it. Great room. Comfortable bed. Staff was excellent as usual. Mgmt went above board to accommodate my special needs. I love Governors Inn and will definitely stay again if the opportunity presents thx again

I didn't understand maid service when you stay an extended stay. But they were great!

Location. I'm not familiar with the area and having to go several miles off the highway was a little disappointing. And very little room between the beds and walls.

the staff were good, the room was quite clean! The parking lot and hotel were gated for security and there were cameras everywhere. Our price paid was half the price of some of the other Motel 6s in the region.

Both rooms reeked of cigarettes and/or weed even though they were non-smoking rooms. The parking lot did fill up so we had to park around the other side of the building. (there was a truck taking up a lot of spaces). Location is everything; it is shocking to have to pay so much for a motel 6, even though this one cost half what the other Sacramento Motel 6s cost.

Staff was nice. Good water pressure. Room was relatively secure. Working AC. Staff kicked out a disruptive guest. Pet friendly.

Roaches, we found at least 4 roaches the room that we had to get rid of ourselves with one additional roach that was found in an iced coffee that we left in the mini fridge overnight. Room was supposed to be non-smoking but reeked of cigarette smoke, we addressed this with staff and they sent someone with a spray bottle and sprayed something on the floor that we then had to wait to dry, that helped with the smell for maybe 30mins, then the cigarette smell persisted from then on. The AC buttons were so worn that we had no idea what setting we were running. When the AC was running, it had a strong smell of mildew. No screen on the window. The first night, we awoke at 3am to the sound of someone yelling very loudly and angrily with someone else outside, not the motels fault but it gives you a good idea of the type of area this hotel is located in, which is not a great area. Thankfully, that guest was asked to leave by the staff. Wifi was slow when it worked. Room was grossly overpriced due to an event in town they were taking advantage of.

Location is decent, there is coffee in the morning (no breakfast). Room has a fridge.

Staff insisted on scanning the IDs of everyone staying in the room, not just the person who made the booking, which was a privacy violation. The room didn’t have anywhere to hang clothes and wasn’t very clean.

Gated parking

When I first got there the person checking people in was rude and could big explain extra charges to me. As soon as I got to the room the smell of smoke was overwhelming and I had to open up the room to try and get the smoke smell out. It was not possible so I went to the store and got cleaning supplies to clean the sticky floor and to try and help the smells. At 1am I was finally able to shower and try and sleep When I pulled the bedding back the brown cover on the bed was stained and had burnt holes in it like cigarettes or cigars burned it. After I pulled that off and lasted down without blankets. The upstairs guest was noisy the entire night you could hear furniture moving every couple minutes so you could never fall Asleep. The worst experience I have had with a motel 6 and I have stayed at many.

Price was good for the money. Rooms were clean. Think there was just coffee in the lobby but we left early so didn't check.

Location a little sketchy but they did have security gate you had to have a key to get through. No coffee in the room. Couldn't get the TV to work/channels Also we were sent a message on the road about a possible COVID exposure.

Location was excellent for my needs. My dog was also very comfortable. Good security, friendly staff, clean premises, comfortable bed, very little noise.

Charged me twice for a room and claimed they didn’t have my reservation. Booking.com won’t return my money back. Horrible service and customer service from both businesses.

Bed was nice, comfortable. Free WiFi and working tv.
