Never book with the Americana Inn

I arrived at the hotel at 8 PM to check in. There was a note handwritten on a piece of printer paper taped to the door stating that no one was in the office and no one would be back until 8 AM since following morning I was unable to check into the hotel, I had to find another accommodation for me and my family for our stay because they had to step away from the desk and could not return into the following day

Good location.

They had no wash clothes we had to buy our own just to shower. The shower head was broken. The fan in the bathroom was exposed. Our room door would not lock. Hair dryer was melted and didn’t work. We went down to ask for another room after the first night and the lady told us that we shouldn’t even be in the room because we hadn’t checked in. Took her a while to find our paper work! She said she would find maintenance to fix the door and she would get us a hairdryer if she could find one. They did bring a hairdryer dryer. We took our stuff with us when we left to go shopping but when came back our room door was open. Went back down and asked for another room. Was told they will try to find us one. Never did. I know you get what you pay for but I at least expected wash clothes and for the door to lock. It did have a latch lock we could lock while sleeping.

Quick overnight stay

Truely the only thing good about this location was the front desk staff the night of check in and the location!!!

We’re do I start - it’s dated and bad!! Upon check in me and my 2 teen daughters went to the 3rd floor to our room and were unable to get in. I went back down to front desk she politely issued me a new room got in and the ac was broke and the sink was not hooked up turn water on and floods floor. This time the front desk lady went up with me to insure the 3rd room was clean and everything worked- this room was ok but door was hard to close so I did like I do at all hotels and placed my chair under handle and close up the peep hole! We also had 2 homeless men just hanging on the stairs by 1st floor!

There was no hot water or water pressure. Our room was on the very back of the hotel where it was dark and creepy with voices coming out of a TIED shut room behind ours. The whole place smelled like weed. They cut holes in the curtains for the light switches.

It was a place to sleep on the cheap. Definitely not for those with expectations for basic comforts.

The location - it's within walking distance to the Island in Pigeon Forge on the main street. It was so convenient!

When we arrived, our 2 rooms had no electricity and smelled awful! We had to be moved. One room had no bulbs in the vanity lights, and the toilet barely flushed. For the cheap price, our expectations were not set that high anyway.

Staff not friendly, I had some issues come up had to leave day early needed to leave that nite but no one in office to check me out went down first thing woke him up sleeping on couch told him I needed refund for 2 nite I was checking out had issues at home that came up he checked me out but I didn't get no refund just bad business, I generally rave about the improvements the new manager is getting done to the place but staff falls short on there job

The front was rude. No towels on the bedroom when we got to our room, had coffee but no coffee maker, the bed sheets smelled like weed even though our room was suppose to be non smoking. The tv didn’t even work half the time and the internet kept losing signal.

Room was dirty. Staff was rude. We were supposed to check-in at 3. They didn’t let us until 4. Said it was because room was being cleaned. But the room was not. Looked like someone had slept in the 2nd queen bed. Drawer by bed had stuff spilled in it and cigarette ashes in it. Bug in bathroom sink. Over half towels given looked used. Room next door smelled like weed.

We didn’t stay, the hotel said they would cancel cause it was so damn bad and now they won’t answer the damn phone for us or booking.com

There was no locks on doors the light fixtures to turn the light on had no covers on them the door had batteries showing for what we paid I feel like the room could’ve been bigger and a lot nicer the bedsheets were dirty there was holes all over the place the staff was very rude upon checking in and said we had to pay $20 to check in early and then continued to tell us that we didn’t have no money and that our cards kept declining in reality they were not

Was supposed to have had two queen beds. They overbooked and we ended up having to sleep 5 to one king bed. There was bugs in the bathroom around the toilet area. And dead bugs on the walls. We asked for extra pillows and blankets and was told they “lost the key” to the storage room and would bring them by once someone came with a key. We never received them. Price was perfect for the condition of the hotel. It’s definitely a 40-80$ room.

Worst hotel start ever

The location was fine.

My dad's door was open to his room before we even got to the room. Black hairs all over his bed. Slept under the blankets one night and itched all over. My room didn't have a microwave the fridge was left open and froze up. The toilet seat was laying on top of the toilet. Giant hole in the wall. Neither room had the full latch to lock the door. Tried to call front desk and message with no answer.

Light in the bathroom didnt work, no hot water, door wouldn't lock from the inside, water on floor by air conditioner, heat on the a/c didnt work, customer service was absolutely horrible couldn't reach anyone by phone. And was charged 2 two times for 1 night stay!!! Wouldn't recommend anyone staying here
