The door was messed up and hard to get in even when the light was green and instead of moving me to another room he kept trying then after doing it 5-6 times it opened and he thought that was ok…. Not at all ok considering how cold it is!

The couch was the size of the chair and could smell pot from the downstairs neighbors still haven’t received my deposit back

Toilet leaked Curtains didn’t close 2x2 metal bars sticking out cut my shin Maid asking for tips when she knew the curtains didn’t close, and stain on be and toilet was leaking

The bed was fine

The bathroom was clean, but the tub looked old and had black mold. The breakfast was not good. It only had coffee, donuts, juice, fruit and granola bars. We have stayed at other Super 8's that had great stuff for breakfast, hard boiled eggs, cereal, hot and cold, milk, yogurt and some other hot items. they did not have king size beds on the bottom floor, only the up stairs, We had to take a room with a jacuzzi, which we could not use.

Location reasonably close to Indiana State Fairgrounds. Lots of food options nearby. Property actually very cute. Has potential if repairs done and breakfast upgraded. The refrigerator and microwave actually worked

Door to room damaged, difficult to open/close. All pillows old, flat and lumpy. Bathtub damaged and not properly repaired - gouges and weak spots present - felt like you could fall through it. Likewise part of bathroom floor sinking/uneven. Faucet on sink leaked when on. Towels thin, old. Cigarette burns in bed covers for both beds. Sheets on one bed had bright paint stains. While the heater worked, would run extra long and make room hot before stopping, then room would get cold before turning on. Wi fi did not work in the room. ROACHES! No lighting at door like other hotel units on property. Fence around lake falling down and would not prevent child or pet from falling into water. So called Breakfast was juice and tiny granola bars (and maybe coffee...not sure since I don't drink it). The irony was a sign stating you needed to eat breakfast there. Sorry, but you shouldn't advertise breakfast available if you only have granola bars! As far as we could tell, no one serviced the room except to bring fresh towels once. Beds weren't made, trash can not emptied. Yes, we stayed multiple days, but too tired to look for new motel the first night, then did not want to infest another hotel with the roaches so we did gut it out and stay for the booked time period. Two nights there were people who stayed in or near their vehicles for multiple hours which also seemed a bit creepy. First night a lady was in her car with it running for over an hour after we arrived - who knows how long she was there before we came. Last night 2 guys with equipment on a trailer hung around for at least 2 hours before going to their room?? Again this morning they were hanging around parking lot while we packed car to leave. All of this applies to Building 5- maybe all the glowing reviews were people staying in other units on the property, but I wouldn't be surprised if those reviews were planted by owners to counteract all the accurate negative ones
