The most uncomfortable New Year’s Eve stay

I like the way the wrong was set up and it was somewhat clean

I did not like the fact that I have a Artistic son and it was someone on our floor about three doors down having confusion. The police had to come to the room two times. The people was really loud kicking on the door. I called the front desk for assistance and all they tell me is the police is handle in it and they did not. I was not comfortable. My baby was very upset because of the noise we were scared uncomfortable. I actually wanted a refund, but I didn’t want to go through the hassle or the trouble with no one. I stayed on New Year’s Eve. It was a bad confusing situation in the room down from the hall as soon as 9 o’clock came in the morning I checked out upset not sure that I will revisit that hotel, and also it was no dry tiles for the pool.

The bed was very comfy & the staff was really friendly!

The room smelled like body odor really bad & it was NOT clean. The floors were greasy feeling if you walked barefoot, we opened the pull out couch & it was full of food & crumbs, the parking lot was closed for repairs & the only other way in was flooded to the size of a small pond, we had to park at the office buildings next door & walk to the hotel - really wish we were informed of this before arrival, we would have stayed somewhere else.

Fair , with big roam to improve

Room size , the breakfast simple but organized

The bad smell the moment I opened the room door , it seemed the sheets or cases not changed , I had to ventilate for a long time to get rid of it , the work at the main entrance was also annoying as it should be blocked with alternative temporary one to open as we have to step on the mortar everytime going in or out . Additional mattress to be provided with the sofabed as the built in one so thin with sometime felt the back only resting on the bedframe

Great stay

The hotel was so clean and smelled fresh. We booked a king room with a pull out couch for our 4 yr old and our 2 yr old slept in a pack and play and the room was huge! Breakfast was very good. Lots of options and kept well stocked and clean. Staff were very friendly. Pool looked very nice but we didnt use it. Everything was very quiet and great location. Would 100% stay here again.

The hotel was clean. the breakfast was nice.the people assigned to maintain the breakfast kept it well stocked and clean. the service at check in and out was great. I cannot remember the young ladies name who check me in and out , she was very hospitable.

Okay but could be better

The hotel is in a great location and I enjoyed my stay overall. However, I was disappointed with the housekeeping during this visit. We found a used shot glass on the side of the bed and crumbs beside the nightstand, which suggests the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. This was my second time staying at this location, and my first experience was excellent, so I hope this was just an isolated incident. I’d love to see the same attention to detail going forward.

There was also a bad smell. Luckily, we travel with air freshener.

Suite not sweet

The location. Near the highway for traveling purposes. A good selection of restaurants for food.

The amenities of the room. There were only two small drawers for clothing. We lived out of our suitcases for a week. The opening to cut the shower on was at the far end of the stall and not near the knobs where it should be. You literally got wet cutting it on. The couch was on a wall that faced the small semi-kitchen area, and the TV was not visible from there. Had to sit on the bed for viewing. Bad design.

Honestly I didn’t like much about the property besides they had a pool and jacuzzi

The location, the room, the fact there was kids running up and down the hallway, the fact you could hear so much outside your door, the fact the first room we were in was not fully cleaned and people outside in the parking lot loitering.

It was clean

Safety concern! Someone entered into our room while my sister was sleep and there was no explanation as to how and why they were able to enter! Also… I called the front desk twice about loud guests in the room next door to mine and the issue was NEVER addressed as the noise and party went on for several more hours into the night!

the check in process was really smooth, the lady at the front desk with the red braids and white bow was really nice. sorry i don't remember your name girl but you were awesome.

the security guard walked past my door as my baby was crying and knocked on our door and told us to keep it down because she was too loud not understanding that shes only a baby. but the next day there were kids running up and down the hallways, waking my family, screaming, knocking on doors, tracking water everywhere from the pool, hogging the dining room , parents in front of our door arguing at 3am as we were trying to sleep before church in the morning; and no one said anything about it they were kind of just letting it happen so a weekend of PEACE was not given like my husband and i intended. but other than that the stay was still pretty cool. great area. everything's nearby.

The toilet I had in my room was not working properly. It kept overflowing so therefore we had to use the restroom in the lobby which was a big inconvenience. once I went to the service desk to talk about my issue they informed me I’ll be receiving $100 off my room. I never received an reimbursement.

Thanksgiving in Southfield

Our first time staying at SpringHill Suites Southfield and the location and hotel was great. The hotel and our room was clean and the staff was attentive, also the complimentary hot breakfast selection and parking was nice (other good food options also close by). We would easily stay at this hotel again.

Had bedbugs in there hotel room room 323 and all they could say call the pest control and have it cleaned and lied said the manger would be there at 9 and never was there and than said to email her and hopefully she responded and that’s very nasty and unprofessional and unpleasant

Staybridge failed to mention they were renovating rooms on the first floor. They gave me a room on the same floor and of course I had to deal with passing the workers along with the noise

Beautiful facility with the best staff ever!

This newly renovated hotel was beautiful and all staff members. The house keepers are very friendly. Everyone kept a smile on their face and the breakfast was awesome as was the staff in the kitchen.

Disappointing

The breakfast was good!

The rooms weren’t cleaned thoroughly. It also had a smell and it wasn’t vacuumed. Food was left in the refrigerator. The shower could’ve been cleaned better. The hotel staff was all over the place and lacked communication between each other. Had late checkout but got locked out of our room and the housekeeper said she wasn’t even aware that we had it.
