Residence Inn by Marriott San Bernardino

I enjoyed the the fact that the central air and heat both worked very well, it was quiet and peaceful. Staff was great. Definitely going to stay here again in the near future.

We were happy with the front desk staff when we arrived. The two woman were very helpful and friendly. We loved it was close to food and stores and that they also had a market a inside the just in case you may need anything after hours.

Our AC in room 414 stopped working after 40 min of us getting there. We are not sure if something happened to it or if we didn't know how to accurately work it. We let front desk know at check out as it wasn't a big deal.

The room was a nice size, my granddaughter enjoy the pool. Restaurants and other stores close by; Costco, Sam’s Club very convenient to put gas at lower price! Most of the staff were attentive!

I always check to make sure I’m not leaving anything important behind; we were rushing out and I didnt realized until we got home and I was unpacking that I left my partial denture that cost me about $300-400! I called right away, I spoke to Molly, and she said she was going to call me back. When I called back she told me that the housekeepers were done and getting ready to leave and nothing was return! I thought she would go or ask someone to check with the maid when I called! So I called the next morning; spoke to Phillip, manager or assistant; he put me on hold to check with the person cleaning that floor and came back, and said nothing was found. I know the maid had to see it cause I left in a regular coffee cup (porcelain). That’s was very disappointed that the maid didn’t care about checking with her supervisor to see if the item was something they needed to put in Lost and Found instead of just throw it away!!

Beds were comfortable.

The buffet food was not hot. The eggs and potatoes were still fairly cold (from defrosting), even though they were on food warmers. There was no meat at all on Sunday, which is very strange for a breakfast buffet, as advertised. The coffee was lukewarm all three days, and tasted like it had been sitting there for days. Check-in time at this hotel is 3pm. I arrived at 3:05 on Saturday, but they didn't have the two-bedroom suite that I reserved (non-ADA suite) ready, and said they were still cleaning it. They said I could wait, and check back with the front desk. Alternatively, the ADA two bedroom suite on the first floor was clean and ready, according to them, so they suggested that I take that one. I said that I preferred to wait for the room on the 4th floor, because I prefer not to stay on the first floor, and I didn't reserve an ADA suite. They said they didn't know what time the regular two-bedroom suite would be ready, as it was still being cleaned. My sister arrived by 3:20pm and wanted to check in right away. So we took the ADA two-bedroom suite on the first floor. After unpacking, we found out the sink in one of the bedrooms was clogged, and so was the tub drainage for that bedroom. Also, I then saw that the kitchen hadn't been cleaned well enough, as evidenced by the sticky food on its floor, the greasy kitchen faucet handle, the fridge doors and the dirty microwave. So the supervisor/manager came by to sweep that floor herself and mop it. By then, I had already cleaned the sink faucet handle and wiped the outside of the microwave. After that, the plumber came by to work in the bathroom. At this point, it was 4:30pm, so I called to complain to the manager and was told I could not get a refund, due to the fact that I booked the room through a third-party (Booking.com), but the hotel could switch us to the non-ADA suite on the 4th floor.

Location was perfect and staff was super nice.

Issue with plumbing and the noise from the room above was unbearable to wake up to.
