After spending a lovely day in Chico, my day was ruined with this negative experience.

Room clean and comfortable

Several things. 1. No complimentary breakfast. 2. Have to pay in advance and then pay a refundable deposit upon check in. But deposit is not refundable upon checkout. It is not refunded until 2-3 days after checkout. 3. Manager was not helpful and in fact rude when I requested assistance with the following problem. 4. Made reservation for a room Nov. 1-2 on 10/20/25 and paid $129.88. Had to change the reservations to 11/8-11/9 on or about 10/27 and received confirmation of reservation change through Booking.com on 10/28 Confirmation #5282632242. But when I checked in on 11/8 at Doubletree in Chico, CA they had no record of my reservation. Apparently Bookin.com did not notify Doubletree of the change in the reservation date. So I had to rebook and pay for another night stay in the amount of $173.87 which included a $50 refundable deposit. I am livid that I had to pay twice for a one night stay. I demand that you refund me $129.88 that I paid when I made the original reservation with you. I WILL NEVER STAY AT A HILTON AGAIN AND MOST CERTAINLY WON'T EVER USE BOOKING.COM AGAIN.

The staff worded with us when we had issues. We had to be relocated due the tremendous amount of noise that kept us from getting any sleep.

There was a loud vibration all night in our room. The air conditioner cycling on and off sounded like a plane landing oin the room. I fell in the shower because there was no mat or a protective texturing on the floor of the shower.

Second floor room was right in front of elevator. Could hear people congregating in front of elevator, as well as the sound of the elevator going up and down in the early morning. Room also near the pool. It was noisy until late evening with people in the spa. So loud, it sounded like the window was open.

A good spot to stay for the cost when visiting Chico

The hotel was fine. Basic rooms that were clean and secure. We were there for a Chico State orientation, and the hotel met our needs, although it isn't walking distance to the school. The bar/restaurant has quite a few beers on tap, and the salad I had was as expected. The gym was decent, and my daughter liked the hot tub.

The rooms are dark and the hallways are a bit dank. Feels like a remodeled Holiday Inn.

Room was clean. Staff very nice. Bed comfortable. Nice pool. We stay here every time we come to Chico.

I wish there was a microwave in the room. It would be nice to be able to heat up leftovers to save on the food bill while vacationing. The hot tub was so intensely hot that we could not use it. I was afraid a child would jump in and get scalded. The restaurant isn't so great, and it is too expensive for the less than mediocre quality of food. (My quesadilas we drowning in grease.) Shampoo and conditioner in shower dispensers are always empty every time we come, but that's not a big deal. I brought my own. It would be nice if they would check on those when they prepare a room. This sounds like a lot of negativity, but the overall experience is definitely positive. We will be back.

We had a nice time while in Chico. My granddaughter was graduating from Chico State.

The room was small but it was clean and comfortable. The first receptionist that welcomed us was really nice, the second one when we returned from the graduation was unpleasant. No smile or greeting and she seemed bothered to be there.

I think the breakfast area should be open later as a lot of travelers like to sleep in after a long drive/flight. Maybe just coffee and muffins/fruit in the breakfast area after closing would be nice. Thank You

It was a convenient location, very clean, nice rooms, excellent temperature and the hallway and lobby smelled good.

One of our rooms had an alarm clock that we unplugged in order to use the outlet . The alarm went off at 5 am despite no power and no display, and had to be plugged in to be turned off.

Everything was great minus that the bed felt it may be in need of replacing soon.

The bed was very worn in and the bartender input my order wrong. I asked for the truffle pizza with sausage. I even repeat myself. Then when he brought it out there was no sausage. He assured me I did not say it but made an attempt to fix it. The fix was to cook sausage then throw it on my pizza. Also I've ordered that pie here before and they put about 3 times the amount of cheese on it.

Disappointing that employees steal rather than promote honest business.

Room was clean.

My son accidentally left his AirPods. We can see that the AirPods are located off property now. An employee did not turn them in as would be expected. I’ve called the front desk to report the incident and current location. It would be great to have them returned or replaced since an employee has not followed proper procedures.

Destinee, the person at the front desk, was very helpful. The facility was clean. Big bathroom. Fridge in room. Quiet. Pet friendly.

No microwave. Not a good dog run area. Room with King bed was actually quite small. I expected it to be a little bigger.
