Convenient, basic motel

Comfy bed, nice clean pool, convenient location to downtown & train station.

No coffee supplies in room; bathtub/shower handle was broken & I couldn't very well regulate the flow or temperature - disappointing because after 3 days & nights on a train, I really wanted a good shower.

Good location -- close to Amtrak station where I was making a connection early in the AM. Very comfortable bed. Nice & quiet and reasonably clean. Nice clean pool.

Shower drain backed up, then drained slowly. No coffee maker or supplies in room, fortunately there was Starbuck's & other coffee places nearby.

Proximity to CSU Chico

I had to go to the front desk and ask for soap. The hair dryer did not work. No shampoo. The towels were cheap. We were price gauged because of CSU graduation. I asked for late check out for noon, the attendant said she would make a note of that. When we tried to get back into the room at 11:45, the key pad was already changed. Luckily, we had packed up our luggage and put it in our car.

It was dark, dirty, overpriced, and I doubt we will stay there again.

The room was clearly still being redone as there was paint chipping along the edge of the walls, along and in between the windows was absolutely disgusting, and the bathroom was stained and just dirty looking. On top of that, there were no towels in the room at all. For $166, it was awful and I won't do it again. Plus our neighbors were loud and smoking out of their room when we walked by.

Good place for a brief stay in convenient location.

The room was small but adequate. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave but no utensils at all, not even a kind of cup for heating water, just flimsy plastic glasses. It was fine for our overnight in town and I would stay there again.

Location

The room needs a handyman. Faucet is loose to the point we were afraid to use it. Reading lamp with no bulb. Outlets did not work. Weird caulk in the bathroom.

Poorly maintained property. Did not feel comfortable using the shower and bathroom.

Not clean, toilet seat broken, tv remote barely worked, pillows were uncomfortable and cheap.

Don’t just change the bedding. Add a blanket or comforter to the beds. Clean/ mop the floors in between stays. Floor was filthy. Bad experience at check in. Tweaker was trying get a cash deposit back after paying with a card. Then took forever to find my reservation.

Great location.

The room was absolutely filthy. Dirty floor, someone else’s hair in the shower and bathroom, smelt foul. Moldy base boards. I only stayed one night out of the two nights I booked. Let the front clerk man know and he didn’t apologize or even ask me if I wanted a refund.

Glad I gave it a chance but never again.

Walking distance from the University, stores, restaurants.

Tv did not work, was able to get it to work but it turned off after a couple of hours. Pillows were very uncomfortable. There was a stain on the sheets that look like blood.

10/10 don't recommend

The bed was comfortable but that's about it.

It was dirty, the first room we were in smelt of cigarettes so badly that it quite literally smacked you in the face. The second room smelt better but there was dirt everywhere, mold on the shower curtain and left over uhm business in the toilet. We were given a sheet as the blanket and if you used the microwave the lights would flicker. The heater made this insane noise every few minutes in order to keep the room warm enough to sleep in. Overall would not stay here again.

Price was ok, wasn't what booking quoted me and the night man (tweaker) came out to the parking lot and told me I had to leave after he had seen me staying there for three straight nights

The front desk to be a little more accommodating and less rigid. I booked a room with 2 queens and they put me in a king suite which cost more. I was with my daughter so needed 2 beds. Night guy put me in room with 2 beds but kept my rate at the suite price. CHEEZY

I rented through booking.com, the description said that there was hot tub in the room and breakfast. I paid for a king suite and there was no hot tub,no breakfast, no coffee pot. there was no microwave. there was one set of towels and there was no hot water. When I complained to the front desk, she told me that I'd have to file any complaints with the day shift manager who would not be in until after check out. When I brought all of this to her attention, I still had to pay full price for the room because she didn't have another room to move me to.

Having a electrical outlet that has enough room to plug everything in . I had to unplug the fridge to use microwave and microwave to use fridge. So bring your own breaker electric surge bar!!!

not going to lie, I read the reviews and was worried, but everything else in town was full. it was great! the guy working the desk was super nice and friendly, and the room was basic but comfortable. the location was fantastic! I’d totally stay again.

I don’t think this place deserves nearly as bad a rating as it currently has, I and I enjoyed the stay.

I wanted to bump the rating up a bit on here. I stay in a lot of motels/hotels around California and I don’t think this one is nearly as bad as the ratings make it out to be. Location is good. Price is decent. Staff is chill. The little breakfast is nice too. I would come back here again if I’m back in Chico.

Not that clean but it isn’t terrible either. Some people hanging outside seemingly at all hours of the night, possibly live there idk. Kinda sketch but they didn’t bother us… pretty much what everyone else was saying on here. Which was fine with me.
