The room was still dirty (dirt in the corners, dust behind things) went to use the bathroom and the tiles had water under them, every time you walked into the bathroom your feet got wet.

Don't waste your money

The pool was available and clean.

The staff was not friendly, professional, or willing to accommodate as needed. I requested a non smoking room and got a smoking room. They told us there were no more non smoking rooms available, and since they saw that we smoke outside they said that it would be fine. We do not smoke indoors. We have children and do not want them sleeping in such a space. We later saw that they attempted to accommodate another person with a non smoking room that night, whom eventually got a refund and left. The room had a strong odor that made us all sick with sinus issues and migraines upon entering. Smelled like dusty smoke, mold and HEAVY chemicals. The thin blankets had cigarette burns. Beds not neatly made, all thrown together and sloppy. The floor had a slippery film that left all our feets utterly black and slimy! We saw roaches roaming. There were not amenities as promised such as shampoo, conditioner. And only 2 full towels for 5 of us. The office was closed for most of the duration we were there (less than 24 hrs) and they would only open it up to the ones you could tell were living there. The place was full of activities all night long. Drug users and dealers living there, coming in and out. People sleeping in motor homes in the parking lot. All trash cans outside were full, the one specifically in front of our room overflowed with trash spread all over the ground. They told us the pool was only open until 11 pm but many were swimming past 1 am. The whole experience was a nightmare for my family. Worst place we have stayed at so far! We did not sleep at all. I will not be coming back and will for sure tell others of our stay.

Location to our daughters graduation

The druggies hanging out in parking lot, broke down cars, travel trailer in front of our room with no windows or door, could smell Clorox before we even opened the door smell was unbearable, poop or blood on wall by bed food on the floor and toilet had not been cleaned. Used bar of soap in showers.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Sasfari Inn. For the budget traveler, I do recommend this place.

My first impression as soon as walked in the room, that it is a nice place, appears clean, which it was. It looked just like it did in the photo. I selected this motel because it was the closest one ,nearly, to my work location, just 3 miles away in North Chico. It was quiet location, parking is very convenient with bright security lighting. the refrigerator was not plugged in so it took many hours to chill, but next morning it was very cold. I brought my own meals to save time for working. in spite of some negative reviews about bugs, hair, stains, etc., I inspected everything carefully and di not see any bad stains, no hair, cartet was clean, toilet and sink was clean,as was the shower. Nice weather so did not need air conditioner, but it was a bit warm and stuffy , so I opened the window for some cooler air. it is a budget motel, which suits me just fine. The swipe card to enter room worked perfectly. I told my client, who paid for my two nights there, that I really did enjoy my stay at the motel. It was my first time ever in Chico! from Sacramento. Was a business trip. I also was impressed that the cleaning lady came into my room on my second day, and changed the towels which I had used, and put a new toilet tissue roll on the top of toilet. My impression from staying at other slightly nicer motels or inns is that they do not tidy up and change towels or linens until after a guest checks out of a room.

I knew it was not a four star hotel, which I have been in. As to what I did not like, the one chair in room, a sturdy leather chair at the desk, where I sat and worked for 3 hours each night, had very heavily cracked leather (not real leather, which I understand), and the seat was not very comfortable. But I did mention this as my only concern to the front desk woman, after complimenting the overall experience. The electric cord for the coffeemaker, which sat on top of the microwave, was too short to reach the plug, which I don't understand. the mattress is quite firm, but they are also very firm on a brand new luxury ship I went on last summer with Princess Cruises. In addition,the furniture chest of drawers and nightstands all had quite a few dents or chips on the stain of the dark colored wood. Perhaps, when their budget allows, they should purchase some new furniture, next.

The hotels peepeetom wired holes

Location,the service was on time just when you needed it was there! plus she had the things I asked for extra toilet paper with extra polite wanted to do righteous . She always carry on with a smile. She made sure she helped us by saying if you need anything I be around till work is all done we said OK have a wonderful rest of the day,!Her reaction back to us you do the same.

The holes in the bathroom door the other door with the double room looking right at us the hole.then believe or not, the window's from the bathroom where they were. I had a peepeetom looking thru that window .I told my husband a blocker, and he did. wired he is still there. I didn't mention to the staff just carried on. We supposed turn him in, by us not doing the right thing we feel awfully stupid.

It was a cheap room that was close to where we needed to be. Available when we needed it. Online booking through a booking company made it easy.

The room was very dirty, toilet was not clean. Toilet was broke and so was the sink faucet. The comforters had stains and burn holes in them. Honestly everything was just dirty and broken.

I should have just slept in my car, it would’ve been cleaner, more comfortable and saved the lost cash that place charge

It has a few stores and restaurants near by.

I didn’t like the almost all used toilet paper used by someone else, nor did the hairs still on the rotted looking toilet lid seem hospitable, especially when they say they still enforce CoVid regulations. The bathroom floor hadn’t been mopped in a while from the stains that were there when I arrived. Also, the door does not have an operating lock out mechanism, the key card is the only form of lock.

Rip Off Hotels and Scammers use booking.com

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HOTEL. ABSOLUTELY %100 scammers. Made booking for first night,. On arrival told by Owner Male that a pet deposit or room deposit would not be needed because I was using my credit card. I decided to stay over for a night, everything went okay. Made my res on the app, everything was good. Then I decided to stay a third night.. went on the app to make the res. Made the res as I had done the previous two days. Went to office window to check in as I had the previous two days. Now all of a sudden I had to leave the room and come back at 1 pm. In 114 degree weather. Then when I came back at 1 pm. I needed to pay $20 for a pet which is fine but then $150 CASH deposit . I didn't have that cash on me. I asked to be refunded, they told me to call booking.com. Booking.com had them issue the free cancelation. But they never did. They literally charged my card 11.00, from 92 to 103 and then charge my card twice.. I have four transactions all debiting my account,. They tell me to send them proof, lol. Wow! Safari Motel is trying to bate you in with booking.com rates then try to make some more on top.. Scam
