Manoir Sainte Genevieve

we were happy with our say at the Genevieve, no complaints

Fantastic location, really ideal. We looked at several areas of town and so glad we ended up here. The property is right next to a lovely small park, then the Château and the terrace, on the other side are the plains of Abraham. The junior suite has two bedrooms and a bathroom. There is a small table and two chairs in one of the bedrooms. It also has a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and you can get an electric tea kettle from the host.

Exterior entrance from the road, the ground slopes so there is not much natural light. The bathroom in the junior suite is very small. This particular room is low on charm.

Excellent location: Located right next to Dufferin Terrace and the iconic Château Frontenac, the hotel is within easy walking distance of virtually all the major attractions in Old Québec, as well as numerous restaurants and cafés. 2. Charming heritage property: The hotel is housed in a beautiful old heritage building, which gives it plenty of character and adds to the authentic Old Québec experience. 3. Spacious and comfortable: The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, making for a very pleasant stay. 4. Lovely little terrace: There is a small, charming terrace that is perfect for a morning or evening coffee while enjoying views of the beautiful historic buildings surrounding the property.

Nothing much, really. There is no elevator, so carrying luggage upstairs can be a slight hassle. However, given that this is an old heritage building, it is quite understandable and somewhat expected.

Bed was tiny, not even double size for two people.
