Great location, very clean room.
Pillows were quite large and fluffy - felt like I was sitting up in bed instead of laying down.
6.0 / 10.0
The motel location is next to Ames Research/Moffet Field.
The beds are clean and soft.
The parking is free.
I was informed the breakfast hrs started 630am, however there was a sign that read "Be back in 1/2hr"
The thin wall lets you hear the neighbors who can be inconsiderately loud and drunk.
The doors have an insect gap

The breakfast was decent
The rooms. Ripped curtains, bathroom without a vent, bathtub had a curtain that didn’t close so water would drip out. Hangers for clothes felt like they came from World War II. Furniture outside, boxes in the parking stall for a moment I thought I had booked motel 6.

Front desk comfortable clean
3.0 / 10.0
Location is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Grounds are well kept and the pool area is nice. Room floors were very clean. A/C worked well and the bed was comfortable.
Front office is run down and outdated. Upon walking into the room there was major water damage on the ceiling. The bathroom needed to be gutted. There is NO charging station/USB outlets. I no longer pack a cube when traveling as I have yet to encounter a hotel that does not have it. Someone left a big wad of tissue in the peep hole and I left it as I did not want to touch it and there must be a reason for it.

Friendly staff
The sheets and bed was very itchy, I went home with bug bites to my toes, back and shoulders. We have 2 queen size bed, and both are itchy, my bf had bug bites to his back and neck. I told the front desk but he denies it and was not really helpful, he doesn’t believe us.

The big bed
The house cleaner repeatedly kept opening our door even with the do not disturb sign there and after knocking and me answering not to open the door still did. Also there were people outside the hotel playing music late at night and it wasn’t dealt with, we were also not informed that to stay you needed to be 19 or older, not 18, I I had to bother my busy mother for her to send an email just so I could stay there when in any other hotel I’ve been at 18 had been just fine, mind you they said all this after we had payed.

The bedding was nice.
The heater in our room was broken and we froze. The refrigerator didn't work. There was no ice machine on the property. The wood floor was lifting due to severe water damage.
8.0 / 10.0
I usually stay at fancier hotels, but this was for a special work assignment and budget-friendly was the goal. And I was very impressed overall.
ALL the things I needed were clean, comfortable, and working: clean, hot shower, plenty of fresh towels, clean toilet/sink, clean comfy bed and pillows, microwave, refrigerator, tv, a/c and heat, even the coffee maker made coffee. No yucky carpet - clean laminate floors!! Hangers in the closet, a safe, ironing board, desk to write on, luggage holder, working lights - near bed too - excellent wi-fi. Very friendly staff too!!!
Older building - but totally safe. The floor in the bathroom had some grout staining due to wear/tear - not mold!! - and there was some chipped paint on the bathroom wall with the shower curtain hardware. Minor fixes and did not affect the comfort and cleanliness of my stay.

Close to Shoreline Amitheater.
The room smelled funny, bathroom ceiling had repairs and wasn’t painted to match. Cabinet didn’t close properly. Ice machine location was dirty and had broken washing machines in the same location.

It’s quiet and discret
7.0 / 10.0
Room was clean, beds were comfortable, had air conditioning, fridge and microwave. Generally pretty quiet even though we were in a room on the ground floor facing the road. Pricing is phenomenal for the area. Staff was nice and helpful and check in and check out was simple. Direct walk to from the Mountain View Caltrain station.
Water takes a long time to get hot, seemed like 5 minutes. Also the room is very old and wasn't well maintained. Lots of messy drywall patches, tons of caulk in the shower, toilet was leaking around the base, water-damaged doors, laminate flooring was peeling, etc. It works well as a crash pad for a short stay on a budget.

Clean and good location.
Breakfast is not that good

The price was decent. I just needed the room for a concert night. It's an old hotel. But we slept well.
The room was very musty and hurt my throat, probably cause of my allergies. But it was very strong. What got me though was the cleaning service tried to come into our room 2 hours prior to check out, twice. I was yelling for them to not come in and they continued. Ridiculous.

Staff was nice
Messaged we would be traveling with a wheelchair. Got booked on the second story-no elevator. Asked for first floor room, was accommodated but it was not accessible for the wheelchair user. Room given smelled stuffy, moldy, had obvious patches on wall and smelled as if a heavy smoker was previously in the room. Right next to the freeway.

No one is at the front desk
We arrived at 2 nobody is in the office?! Called the listed phone number multiple times no one answered. Took almost an hour to check in because employee arrived at 3 and of course had a line of people all trying to check in at the same time. I asked why they don't have somebody on site to check people in he didn't have an answer. That's our policy. He seemed confused why be had a line of people too. You're sold out?! Of course you're going to have a line of people all trying to check in at the same time. We arrived at back to our room at 11:30 after our concert to see 3 young ladies standing outside the office banging on the door calling the after hours phone number.... The same one I called trying to check in at 2, of course no answer. These poor ladies card key didn't work and guess what? Nobody to help them expect us. We let them use our bathroom because they couldn't get into their room because their card key didn't work. A normal issue but nobody to help. An hour later after calling the listed number with no anwser many times, calling the police, who couldn't help, the ladies had to find another place to stay because they don't have anyone working in the office to actually help anyone. This completely ruined our experience and the front desk guy the next morning hard no anwsers and wouldn't even apologize. If you want a cheap room and want to gamble with not being able access your room and all your stuff use this place. Good luck.

Employees don't work 24h, soo if you have any issue, you are basically ignored by everyone until the next day. Also, If you don't have a cellphone due to not being American, you don't have any kind of way yo contact them.

Breakfast was fine, plenty to choose from.
I would of liked to have a comfortable side chair for relaxing

We stayed based strictly on location, and would definitely look deeper next time!
Booking has check-out listed at 12pm, and apparently it 11am now. At the stroke of 11 our door was opedned by housekeeping and we were very rudely told it is NOW 11, and we could have until 11:30 and we "wouldn't have any problems"! HA! Love an ultimatum in the morning !
