1. Excellent location - close to Broadway, Rockefeller centre and 5th and 6th avenues. 2. Bed very comfortable.
1. Shower was very weak in pressure- not of the standard for a 4star hotel. 2. Hairdryer very basic which meant my hair for business meetings was not presentable 3. First night I didn’t even have toothpaste or a toobrush and had to ask for them. 4. Toiletteries were not stocked each day as they are in 4 sate hotels. 5. No fridge or kettle with tea/ coffee in rooms but instead in the foyer downstairs and only in takeaway cups. Again not the standard for a 4 star hotel.

Theater district….I have stayed here several times over the past 25 years when my late husband was on a national board that met quarterly in NYC. I enjoy access to 5th Avenue, Broadway, museums etc. I consider 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues my NYC blocks.

Breakfast was delicious even though the entire situation was confusing. Parking was not easy but understandable in Newport. We did not have the room we expected but it was decent
moving from inn to inn and not told this in advance
