I would highly recommend staying here. It was such a pleasure!

Our host was exceptional in his knowledge of the city. He provided us transportation from the airport and to the port. He even made us jelly from the grapes on his property. Can't say enough nice things about our stay here.

A WONDERFUL welcome to Vancouver and a MOST comfortable stay.

Brian the proprietor, very kindly collected us from the airport arrivals collection point. He also ordered dinner for us from a nearby take-away. Unfortunately we missed the communal breakfast at 9am due to our early flight, but Brian VERY kindly provide us with delicious muffins and fruit. There are three very well appointed and provisioned rooms around a patio and a pool in a very quiet area of Vancouver, on which Brian is a fund of information. FAR better than staying in an hotel - we STRONGLY recommend this lovely B&B.. .

I honestly don't think it could have been better. However, there is one room designated the Safari room with a double bed and a marvelous African decor which I might ask to stay in next time.

The premise is beautiful, with a lovely garden & pool, and cozy room, there is a coffee/tea stand for use, the breakfast was superb - beautifully served, the owners are friendly and drove us from and to the airport.

The Best Experience

The property was so beautiful and in a very nice neighborhood. The host, Brian, could not have been kinder. He told me a lot about Vancouver which was great because it was my first time there. The breakfast was amazing! Linda went above and beyond any expectations. Brian picked me up from the airport and drove me to the port the next day for me to start my cruise. I will definitely use Stone Hedge B & B again in the future should I find myself in Vancouver again. 10+

An excellent stay in a quiet location to recover from a long haul flight.

A big thank you to Brian for all his help and advice. We appreciated the airport pick up and the "to go" breakfast when we departed. The facilities at the property were very good and Brian is a welcoming host.

It was beautiful.

We stayed in the jungle room , it was a tribute to brian's parent. Well done and very secluded with your own court yard. With 70 year old grape vines growing on the roof, with grapes currently on the vines. You get treated with fresh homemade jelly and a spectacular breakfast and a har if jelly to take home. Brian will give you a tour of the area when he drives you to the port, he is very knowledgeable. The orange brandy in the room was a added bonus, especially after a long flight.

Great host and awesome breakfast.

We got in late 11:30 pm. We came into Vancouver the night before a trip on a cruise. We took a Taxi from the airport to get there. It didn't take very long to arrive. We were greeted and shown to our room. The room had 2 twin beds and was pretty small, but it served it's purpose. The breakfast was awesome. The owner then took us to the cruise line for a charge. He also gave us some history about the area. Very friendly and would recommend.

His van that takes you to the cruise line could use an extreme cleaning,

Stay in an oasis in Richmond.

The accommodating hosts! Brian went out of his way to help us. He drove us to the airport early in the morning with a smile and a portable breakfast. We were able to check in a little early which was very helpful.

The service was utterly outstanding. Brian, the owner, went far beyond the call of duty to take care of me. My room was charmingly decorated and quite comfortable. Breakfast was generous and beautifully presented. I will be returning.

A Very Comfortable Stay After a Long Flight

Brian is the composite host! He picks you up at the airport with bottles of cold water, can talk on almost any subject and ensures all your needs are met. A wonderful homemade breakfast is provide the following morning, and he will drive you to the sky train if needed. Our room was very comfortable and well-equipped, right down to the orange brandy for a night-cap. A small shared kitchen area provides coffee, tea, biscuits and other snacks, as well as a microwave. The coffee machine is set the night before so all you have to do is hit the on switch! There's a shopping plaza only a few blocks in one direction and a beautiful waterfront promenade in the other. With the ferry only 30 minutes away, it was the perfect location for us!

Wonderful service!

As this was our first stay, we had no idea what to expect. Brian and Linda exceeded all of our expectations! From the seamless pick up at the airport to ensuring we made our bus connection the next morning, service is their top priority. Our room was well appointed with everything we needed and some nice little extras. Breakfast was amazing--our hats off to Linda! We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was done to perfection. A great place to relax. Loved the little touches eg orange brandy in the room and the turn-down service and chocolate on the pillow! Loved breakfast ourside by the pool. Great breakfast! ... baked, halved grapefruit with fresh berries, warm blueberry muffin, coddled eggs and croissants 😊
