The premises were beautiful. The resort grounds are well kept, good restaurants and shopping. The rooms were lack luster.
Our rooms had a mildewy smell. Upon arrival we did not get the rooms we paid for. This was two years in a row they did this. We paid for a fifth sleeper and they did not give that to us initially. We had to call the front desk. Then the credit card we left on file for incidentals kept getting randomly charged daily. They randomly charged over 2k on that credit card and couldn’t explain why that was happening. It took them over a week to correct the charges.

The atmosphere and upkeep of the outdoors is just beautiful.
The pillows and bed could be a little more comfortable. The price is just too high for what it is.

Beautiful resort, spacious grounds you can walk and beautiful gardens and flowers. Great facilities for children and plenty of pools on offer. Also the gym and the arcade were enjoyed by our family.
Our room lacked a bath, so if you want a bath tub make sure you enquire before booking. Breakfast was great, although we quite enjoy a buffet style breakfast and find it works better for families. I was disappointed to see birds flying on tables and eating food from the tables at the breakfast restaurant. The hotel needs to put a net cover over the outside seating area to keep birds out. We sat inside a lot to avoid this and such a shame to miss the views and sunshine. The showers could have been more powerful in the rooms for a more luxurious stay.

Omni is a beautiful resort. The landscape and property is gorgeous. It is def a getaway spot. The spa was enjoyable. The room was a nice size and it was clean. You definitely get your steps in, parking is a distance away from the hotel rooms.
I enjoyed this place and I am looking forward to coming back.

Nothing
Absolutely abysmal experience at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, a complete rip-off! For nearly $4000 for three nights, we expected a luxurious family suite for seven, but what we got was a nightmare. The first 'suite' was two open, interconnected rooms – no kitchen, incredibly dirty, and I found two spiders, a serious concern with a baby present. I have pictures to prove the deplorable conditions.
After complaining, we were moved to a 'better' suite, yet shockingly, they charged us extra despite the initial unacceptable conditions. This second suite, while larger, reeked of a foul odor. To make matters worse, incessant noise from the room above, even after calls to the front desk and assurances of security intervention, continued unabated throughout our stay. This hotel is a disgrace and a monumental waste of money. Avoid at all costs.

Ambiance
I was awoken to two cockroaches on the bed sheet and pillow. So I decided to just get up and leave in the middle of the night. Front desk did not accommodate my stay.

Property was beautiful room nicely acquainted and decorated. Not much else good to say about the place as the way I was treated was terrible
Check in took way to long as the front desk people could not find my reservation super embarrassing and after traveling all day the last thing I wanted to do was stand there for over 1/2 an hour being told I didn’t have a reservation even though I showed them multiple confirmation emails. Had 830 dinner reservations and those mysteriously got cancelled as well. Very poor treatment of guests paying $800 for a 1 night stay

I’m not sure the value is there in the room. I wanted more for almost $500.

We loved that it wasn't too crowded, the beds were so comfy and my son loved the pool. Wish we could have stayed a little longer.

The staff were what makes the hotel. The grounds are beautiful. Loved the fireplace
Rooms are so outdated and dark. Lighting is horrible, noisy fridge. Sad on the inside.

The grounds are beautiful and so beautifully decorated for the holidays. Great selections of restaurants and amenities. The lobby shop was incredible with so many options of everything you need right there. We absolutely loved the tub in our bathroom. So relaxing. The valet gentlemen were so nice and helpful as well as housekeeping. The gym was amazing! We loved the touch of providing umbrellas. We needed them.
Staying at a resort I had hoped the sheets would have been nicer and not so itchy. The room seemed to need some upgrades such as paint, scrubbing the hard water residue off the shower doors, there was old hair in the coffee pot and the toilet paper holder was broken. My husband didn't care for the ringing bell every hour. It kept waking him up all night. We also didn't care for the bathroom doors that didn't provide any privacy at all. We ordered pizzas from the marketplace and the pizzas were undercooked and missing several toppings. Also wished those could have been delivered instead of having to walk out in the rain to get them. Disappointed that they charged for wifi. Haven't seen that at a resort before in my experience. Would have loved if they provided a couple bottles of water. Could have used those in the morning.

The staff were great. They were very courteous and professional. They were friendly and very helpful.
The room needed upgrading. The hotel is in fair condition, but for the price, not a 4 star hotel.

Parking is a bit inconvenient. Self parking should be complimentary considering the distance.

The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. The pool area is really fun for the kids. The rooms are comfortable.
Everyone in the valet parking department should get a raise. They were the first people we saw when we pulled up and they made us feel welcome and wonderful.
I’d come back if they were offering a great deal. I have booked here many years ago on several occasions but I may look elsewhere next time.
for the price they are charging, everything should be in working order and updated even just a little. I just wasn’t so impressed considering how much I paid.
some of the staff was rude in the store/cafe and by the pool sadly.
