Stunning property. Beautiful views from the room (a nice surprise as I hadn’t paid for or booked a lakefront room). Super friendly and helpful staff. And a great location, seconds away from the quiet lakefront but also right on the Mag Mile. This place deserves its reputation.

Beautiful hotel. Modernized but touches of yesteryear throughout the property. Food was excellent. Was there for private event and the service and food were both outstanding.
Completely outside the control of the hotel but outside vehicle noise was disturbing especially late night/early morning.

Location
Hotel needs updating. The toilet flush was incredibly loud. Water pressure in sink and shower was poor. AC could have been better. The whole hotel felt humid including the room. Fan in the bathroom didn’t work. Room service extremely limited. Was willing to upgrade and did so on-line only to be told at desk that it didn’t apply to the room I booked. Told me I should have called to verify. Beds were hard and the linen was rough.
