Hilton Suites Chicago/Oakbrook Terrace

Our suite was wonderful, beds extremely comfortable, and everything was up to expected Hilton standards.

The parking, or should I say the lack of parking! We are an 80 yr old couple in relatively good health. That said, we did not expect, however, to walk blocks in -3 degree weather to reach the hotel! After driving around and around the property for over 20 minutes we ultimately found a spot at the adjacent convention center. Apparently it’s every man for himself. And did I mention that we were charged $8 per night to park?! Needless to say, we won’t be staying at this Hilton again.

Everything was nice

The pool room was cold but nice.

Room was clean and comfortable. Nice amenities.

Very noisy.

Card machine wasn't working so I could not have a key until 2 am I sat ont eh floor outside the room until they couldlet me in my oown room.

Rooms were large. Locations was great.

Windows were completely covered for outdoor painting 2/4 days. Drapes were dusty/old and missing hanging brackets. Room amenities were lacking soap/conditioner etc. Had to ask for room service daily. Towels were small and old. No king size pillows or slippers.

They allowed me to check in early but charged $50.00.

The room was dirty. The management got mad when I didn’t want to stay and changed my hotel but they then did not give me a receipt nor did they try to help me with the switch.

The hotel is beautiful, the room was alot more spacious than usual rooms especially for the nightly rate.

The A/c in our room only cooled down to 76 the whole time we were there and it looks like there is mold or something else that needs to be cleaned in the grout in the shower.

Very comfortable beds, large rooms and great showers. We loved the location and would definitely stay again

Timed swimming (1 hour) you had to reserve in advance and get an arm band for. I've never heard or experienced this before anywhere I have stayed or traveled to.

The breakfast was delicious and the property was very pretty

The bath tub was dirty it had hair and soap scum in it. There wasn’t a remote for the TV in the bedroom and when the brought one it still didn’t work, it was the next day before we had access to tv when the maintenance guy came in. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work the whole time we stayed there.

Too pricey

Paying for parking. The area around the hotel had very few restaurants.

Workout room 2 treadmills equipment was out of order, in room 304..the outlet between beds did not work..so not lighter charging ability, the checkin and early morning front desk was professional and informed me of Gold member $15 credit..Victoria informed me that even though I am a Gold member I do.not.get $15 credit per day or complimentary bottles of water and that I can not extend to a late check bcuz they needed the room for an incoming wedding party

The staff was very nice and helpful

Pool and jacuzzi were the highlight!

Only thing couch bed didn’t quite extend properly, wasn’t up to par!

None , everything was great

We had a few ladybugs in the room, still waiting to see if it's lucky or not. The front desk staff was Amazing. Micky is a gem. The pool area was nice not to crowded.

Paying $20 for what is considered a continental breakfast at other hotels. And the lady that cleaned my room didn’t speak English. So I had to use my translator app to communicate with her.

Furniture was old and dirty, shower needed updating Staff was polite but not inviting, told them of issues in room upon checkout, it was obvious she didn't care

I liked the pool. I loved my bed. I loved breakfast. The staff were super nice. The place was beautiful. The price was very low for how nice of a place it was. Room was huge.

I did not like how gard it was to set up the pullout

Bathroom shower was not clean. Mold and mildew around the door frame and between the tiles on walls. Obvious the shower had not been cleaned for weeks. Too cold in hotel room at night. After increasing room temp, it would get cold middle of the night. In the day when turning down the ac, the bedrooms would cool down but not the living room area of the suite. Stark temp difference between both rooms. Room service comes every fourth day so if you’re staying for 2-3 nights you need to call for restock. This is inconvenient when there are 4-5 people in a large multi bed suite as trash piles up and other items would need restocking. Trash cans are small and narrow with 1.5 inch opening. Can barely fit one takeout container. After 10pm a room key is needed to use the elevators. No signs on how to use key, resulting in groups of guests waiting for lobby elevators for 5-10 mins for other guests to come down in the elevator so they can go up.
