Clean room
There was no breakfast. The room was paid for and they are still trying to take double payment.

The O'Hare Inn was close to the airport, which I needed after a flight was canceled at 11 p.m. Check-in was easy and efficient.
The room was not clean. There was a cockroach in the bathtub. During the night I woke up with bites. I turned on the lights and spotted at least one bug. I ended up leaving at 4 a.m. and returning to the airport.

The room was fine for a quick overnight near the airport and check-in was straightforward. The location is convenient if you need to be close to O’Hare.
The listing stated there was a complimentary shuttle (4:00–00:00), but it wasn’t operating and I didn’t get a reply in the Booking.com chat when I asked where to catch it. I had to pay out of pocket for transportation to/from the airport, which was the main reason I chose this hotel.

The staffing very pleasant the rooms were clean.
Well the first room we had the TV had no reception. We got moved to another room same problem along with water not working. Finally got to a 3rd room TV finally work and as we were relocated forgot our beverages in the room didn't realize it til the morning and called down to office and he basically said the room was rented out and there was nothing he could do.

Nothing,
First of all, the problem started at check-in. I believe I paid more than necessary just to have a room.
When I entered the corridor, there was a terrible smell of smoke.
Then, when I walked into the room, it was clearly not clean.
I went back to the front desk and politely asked if they could give me another room or at least some clean sheets and towels so I could take a shower and sleep in a clean bed. The answer I received was:
"It’s late, I don’t know how I can help you. If you don’t like your room, you can go somewhere else."
This was at 11:30 PM on a snowy night.
I know the price is cheap, and I wasn’t expecting anything fancy. But if the receptionist had simply given me clean sheets and towels, I would have been fine—I could have changed them myself. Instead, the attitude was completely unprofessional and unhelpful.
This is unacceptable. A minimum level of cleanliness and courtesy is not optional. I strongly suggest you review your customer service standards because this experience was beyond disappointing.

It was close to the airport the room was exceptionally large and it was pretty quiet.
There are no elevators when you go up the stairs and both of the shuttles were down so you couldn't go back to the airport unless you got a taxi or an Uber.

I asked for a first floor room as I can't do stairs well, nearing 70 yrs old and I had a large, heavy suitcase. I was told there wasn't a first floor room, then there was one, but I was given a second floor room anyways. There were men hanging out in the stairwell. My room had a shattered window that was covered with plastic and duct tape that wasn't sticking. Cold air blowing in all night. Thank God the heater worked. Previous trash in the trash can. Mold around the caulking surrounding the bathtub. A hole in the bathroom wall and peeling paint on the door. Broken furniture. No vending machine to get anything to eat or drink and I had no car to go anywhere. I was uncomfortable sleeping there.

When a hotel says they have an airport shuttle as part of the price then there should be an airport shuttle. The O’Hare Inn and Suites has no shuttle service and is badly located for public transportation.

The receptionist who booked us out was very nice and and helpful
The room was shocking, the smell was shocking with trash bins on the stairs to the rooms, most of the trash was on the floor, the furniture in the room was shocking, stains all over the walls, stains in wash basin, the worst hotel I have stayed in, the only reason we didn't leave was because it was 1.15am.

Staff was nice.
The facility is literally a trap house. No exaggeration. Dangerous activities there and hygiene is non-existent in the rooms. None of the amenities advertised are available except wifi.

It smelled like cigarettes everywhere, including inside the room in a non-smoking floor, the room was dirty, the walls had holes, the toilet didn’t flush. My partner and I could only bear to stay one night and we figured because of the partial refund cancellation policy, we would be charged $180 for the one night and the penalty for late cancellation, and refunded the rest. However, that did not happen. I called in the morning and evening for at least 5 days straight asking for the manager after booking.com informed me only the manager was allowed to issue the refund. Every time I called anyone who answered the phone, told me the manager was coming in later and they informed her. That did not happen. When I asked for the managers number to reach out to her directly, they said she didn’t have a number. Booking. com customer service was equally useless in getting me a refund. While I should have a full refund for everything, I am happy to settle for a partial as is written in the policy, sadly the incompetent staff of the hotel can’t even achieve that. I plan on filing a formal complaint with the attorney general so this hotel is shut down. Literally stay anywhere else, even the one next door to it seems better. Just leave.

Extremely disappointing and unsafe experience – avoid this hotel at all costs
Our stay at this hotel was by far the worst travel experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, things were completely unacceptable.
At check-in, the receptionist appeared to be under the influence of drugs – she was incoherent, made disturbing comments (including suggesting we could end up in jail for no reason), and seemed entirely disoriented and unaware of her surroundings. She handed us a key card to a room that was already occupied. We accidentally walked in on a guest who was already staying there – late at night – which was not only terrifying for us, but completely unsafe for everyone involved.
The hallway leading to the rooms was filthy – the carpet was visibly stained, uncleaned for what looked like months, and there was a strong unpleasant odor throughout. When we finally received a different room (after multiple attempts), it was equally appalling: the carpet was dirty and stained with what appeared to be blood, the bed linens had not been changed, and there were marks and dirt everywhere. We even found ourselves covered in bites from bedbugs or mites and have had to use medical creams since.
We felt completely unsafe and uncomfortable during our entire stay. The condition of the room and common areas was unacceptable, and basic hygiene standards were clearly not being met. This place should not be allowed to operate as a hotel – it was more like an abandoned, neglected building than a place for guests.
I strongly advise others to stay away from this property. It was not only dirty and mismanaged – it was dangerous.
