The location of the W Toronto is simply unbeatable, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. Having direct access to the subway right next to the building is a huge advantage and makes getting around Toronto incredibly convenient. Everything is within easy reach, whether you’re looking for restaurants, shopping, or attractions. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.

The only aspect that wasn’t quite to my taste was the very dark ambiance of the rooms. I personally prefer brighter, more naturally lit interiors, so the overall design felt a little too dim for me. That said, I fully recognize this is a matter of personal preference rather than a shortcoming of the hotel, and many guests will likely appreciate the stylish, intimate atmosphere that the W brand is known for.

The location

The room is not comfortable and feels crammed because there is not a separate bathroom area. The sink and tiny vanity are in the room along with the shower and toilet. There is a tiny closet and then a clothes rack connected to the outside of the closet.
