Overnight stop

Very spacious, clean, comfortable beds. Well equipped. We were visiting friends and attending a christening. So perfect for us.

The Wifi password would have helped. I was fine, but my daughter could have benefited. Other than that perfect.

The accommodation was far more spacious than we had anticipated. The kitchen is well stocked and instructions for appliances are available. The hosts were amazing, particularly since we arrived not long after Storm Arwen, to find that she had caused a power cut! Our host provided candles for us and had taken steps to try to keep the warmth in the accommodation. The parking onsite was great. Honestly a very comfortable and convenient stay. Thank you 😊

It was a bit tricky to find the turn off from the road but there were places to turn round so no big deal.

Comfortable, clean and spacious

The property was very spacious, with multiple beds and ample room for a large group. There was plenty of parking space and the location was great. There was every amenity available and the shower was excellent.

One of the toilets was run from a system wherein it could only be used as a urinal. However with another toilet available, we were able to make do. Unfortunately there was a massive storm during our stay, which caused a power cut, but we were able to get by reasonably. The landlord provided some candles and matches to help. The situation was less than ideal, but there was nothing to be done as a large area was affected by the storm.

The property is clearly well managed. It is much larger and more comfortable than the pictures give it credit for. Extremely clean. Great host. Thank you.

It would have been great to be closer to 'attractions', but we loved the peace and quiet and a short drive brought us to more than enough entertainment.

What a lovely place to stay. Very clean and we were very happy with our stay there.

The couple in the cottage next door must have been doing DIY most of the night as the wall was banging and it was really loud.I didnt know it took that long to put a picture up. Plus as well I think the lady hit her finger a couple of times as we heard a few screams. 😂😂😂😂 But other than that which isn't the owners fault. We cant fault the place at all.

Great location for visiting Parkgate, Chester and the Wirral. Excellent for children Very well equipped cottage Host, Shaun, was most welcoming. We will definitely stay again.

Location was excellent, the house size was more than I expected and the area was lovely. Highly recommend

Minor worry was the many mouse traps in the house but that is only as I am not a fan of mice but we did not see any and if is rural area so not surprising if we did 🙈

Very convenient for our visit.

For our stay it was a perfect location0Chester Zoo, Wirral and Runcorn. Plenty of room, warm and cosy. Not disturped by others on the site.
