The people are so so amazing! Ended up 2 evenings in a row playing games with them and went for a nice walk to the mountain where we also played cards

I chose this property as it looked like it was at the end of a road and quiet which it was. It is nestled in amongst a hamlet of people who all seem to be related. Lots of smiles and greetings. As we were led to their bungalows along a dusty track among buildings with cows and people going about their daily business it felt a long way from the tourist hub (in a good way). The bungalows are lovely and the best shower I have had in Indonesia. You don’t need ac as it is much cooler up there. I hope they manage to grow their business without losing authenticity. Tetebatu is growing but this is still on the edges of this. Atún (probably spelled wrongly sorry) speaks ok English. Tips we went on a tour which probably naively I didn’t realise included 3 inevitable show and sell these were coffee, bamboo and sarongs the sarong one was a long drive but beautiful handiwork. Worth it if you are likely to buy these things. The coffee one could do with showing the coffee plantations and the other plants that they sell such as vanilla and chilli . It’s interesting to us Europeans. We also went on a Ranapani trip very well organised by Tetebatu Treking who we were told about by smiling cousin of Atun. I forgot to mention that on the tour the best bits were the waterfalls and walking through paddy fields to the monkey forest. Basically a forest with monkeys. You could do this yourself if you have more time to suss out the lay of the land but I feel you would really need a scooter. We were lacking in time but I feel if you have more time and are happy taking it slow. Then this place still has a lot to offer before it inevitably gets ‘spoilt’ by us the tourists
Perhaps due to end of season but slightly limited on drink options but that is to be expected.

We had a special stay in Tetebatu, we wish we stayed one more night but sadly it was fully booked. Staff was amazing, we felt more than welcome during our whole stay, they are super friendly. While having dinner (which was delicious, one of the best Nasi goreng we had) we met Nas, an incredible guide, we decided to book our trip with him the next day. Starting in the morning we had a lovely day packed with activities and feel so grateful to have seen and experienced some of the great things Tetebatu offers with such good company. Starting from a coffee workshop☕️, rice terraces tour 🍚, an awesome cave waterfall, monkey forest 🙊and bamboo craft🎍! We sadly missed the cooking class as we didn’t have enough time the next day but I bet it’s more than worth it and super fun. We can’t thank NAS enough, definitely the highlight of our Lombok trip, we enjoyed it a lot, thanks again nas and coffee homestay 🙏🏼🤎

Beautiful place, beautiful people. Showers are very nice with hot water also. Rooms are nice and cosy and away from any noise for a peaceful sleep. They have a restaurant there, had dinner and breakfast which were both amazing. Great price and quality. Very close to all the waterfalls and monkey Forrest too! 1000% recommend.
