The way the house was build, it’s gorgeous! It’s also very spacious a separate bedroom and lounge as well as a bathroom. And they have a gym. The location in the rice and tabako fields is also awesome. The location was close to the activities that we wanted to undertake: Tetebatu monkey forest (+-30-45min), waterfalls, tubing +- 1,5-2hours. Very kind staff. The beds are beautiful. But the klamboe doesn’t close up properly which is why we were stung quite often.

When the staff did their laundry we were not able to take a shower (no water). Very inconvenient when you are standing naked in the shower and don’t get any water out of the shower head. There was very limited warm water. The breakfast was simple (pancakes or omelet). They really did their best but it was more like deep-fried pancakes. Dinner we would recommend to arrange through Grab! Cheap and they bring it to the hotel. Their food is quite expensive (85.000 for a plain nasi goreng). Around the hotel are no local restaurants (you have to take a taxi which are hard to find this far inland).

The staff was really kind and attentive.

El personal es una maravella, es una familia local super servicial. Realment hi tornaria segur, el senyor es una maravella que t’ajuda en coses i problemes que pugis tenir, com el que es saber cap on anar, on llogar motos, ….

It was a special experience staying in this stunningly crafted building. Beautiful views of the rice fields a lovely host and a very generous space. Very affordable if you’re on a budget.

I really wanted to love staying here but the pictures of a serene tranquil location couldn’t be further from the truth. Even though sheltered from the road by other buildings, it is on a busy main road and across the road from a mosque. Avoid Fridays as noise gets to fever pitch!
