Anya was such a nice host: there when you needed him, always willing to share his knowledge about the area and history, but he also left us alone if we wanted. And the cooking skills of his wife and daughter are to die for! The location is really quiet, surrounded by ricefields. From his first floor (under construction, but you can walk up) you have an absolutely beautiful view on Rinjani and black monkeys, if your lucky.
We stayed in his oldest double room. This was absolutely fine, but compared to his newly built king room, not phenomenal. You get what you pay for, so to say.

Anya and his family are amazing! The bungalows are set in a beautiful garden. They're simple but very clean. Anya's wife and daughter cook delicious meals, and the host and his brother are happy to show you the local sights. You'll see waterfalls, rice terraces, black monkeys, and Mount Rinjani from the rooftop. But the main attraction here is the kindness and care of the locals. 🤗Thank you, Anya!
