Lovely surrounding of the accommodation and the family working at the homestay is so friendly and help you with everything to make your time in Tetebatu the best! It’s a pretty small homestay with just seven bungalows, but that makes it very cozy and you really get to know the family of Ang (the friendly owner who is always around to help). The stay is in the middle of the nature, and Dila (the daughter of the owner who speaks very good English) took us on a beautiful and fun walking tour through the area along waterfalls, monkeys, rice fields and some local eateries. Afterwards we even enjoyed a great cooking class with wonderful tasty food we could enjoy afterwards. Every morning freshly made breakfast and fruit with stunning view of the area. They also provide comfortable shuttle service to most places around Lombok for your previous/next destination, with the very kind, happy and friendly driver Eriel. All together a wonderful accommodation to spend your time in Tetebatu and enjoy the still local inland of Lombok, would definitely come back again! :)

The views on the rice terrace is beautiful. The staff is very kind and helpful. It’s a quiet and serene place in Tetebatu.

The owners are very nice and welcoming - it's impressive how they grew this place and we truly keep our fingers crossed for them. The view over the rice field with mount rinjani in the back is breathtaking. Initially we had 3 nights booked but after arriving we realized we can't stay there that long as we had to work on our laptops and this place wasn't suitable for this purpose and the owner agreed to shorten our stay which we highly appreciated.

1. There are two ways to get there - through village and through rice field. Our driver dropped us off at the rice field side. When we arrived it was pouring rain soooo bad. We went down the road and the place wasn't there so we texted the host, called like 5 times and he didn't respond. We were pretty stressed out as lightnings struck literally next to us, waiting for them to respond which didn't happen. Eventually we found a path, where the ground subsided few days before so it was challenging to go there with our luggage. Overall, if the host knows that people are coming it'd be good for them to pay attention to their phone to make sure that the guests don't struggle with finding the accommodation, especially when it rains that bad. 2. When we came the electricity wasn't working for 2h, so the water pump didn't work as well. Not a suitable place for remote workers. 3. We stayed in the older house which was... very authentic, but to be honest a little too much for us. The bed wasn't king size at all, the mosquito net was yellowed and full of holes. It was so small that my husband and I had to sleep glued together in the middle of the bed to avoid sleeping with our faces in it, which was very uncomfortable. At 4am in the morning local mosques started to call to pray which didn't allow us to sleep even in earplugs.
