Tereng Wilis Jungle Inn

We had an amazing time there and this is defo the best places I stayed in Lombok! The bungalow is such a spacious sanctuary, this is a new building, everything is so clean and comfortable here. Everything is unreal for a village living! the bed, sink, bathroom, floor, everything is properly cleaned and maintained, bed is very comfortable and clean and smells good! and you living in this peaceful beautiful jungle. You have the most wonderful family here because Zikriilham and Jay are so kind and amazing person, they always try their very best to help you no matter, with their most genuine heart! and all of the family are very welcoming and warm!! We had a welcome drink just when we arrived at night, they were also waited for us to making our dinner. We had our breakfast just in front of our bungalow which was great too! We had offered so many their local snacks from the family too! We had lots of fun! Jay showed us around through a small hike walking through the jungle to a hidden waterfall, he showed us the best kindness and professional to this jungle haha! One thing have to mention is the village life you will experience is lovely! You will see their 3 cows - super cute and beautiful! Lots of chicks having their best life! Amazing views and lovely village vibes!

Sad to leave the property if that counts

Wer ein authentisches und gemütliches Homestay sucht ist hier genau richtig - wir hatten eine wirklich wunderschöne Zeit! Das Zimmer ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Gastfamilie ist unglaublich herzlich und freundlich. Sie haben sich viel Zeit für uns genommen und tolle Aktivitäten organisiert. Auch das Essen war super lecker!

We stayed for 2 nights and loved everything about this place, perfect homestay with beautiful surroundings, peaceful and tranquil nature just outside the room. The room we stayed in was brand new, everything was super clean and Herman and his family made sure we were most comfortable. The warmth and hospitality of the whole family is hard to describe in words, you just need to experience it :)) also the food! So delicious, cooked right beside by Herman’s mother with fresh local ingredients. Herman took us on a walking tour through the jungle, waterfall and rice fields, we really recommend it. We managed to see the rare black monkeys :) Thank you again to Herman, wife Ama and the whole family for having us, wishing you all the best!

No negative remarks

The homestay is located right next to the beautiful jungle. Perfect to take a hike or go on a tour with Herman to the hidden waterfalls. Both Herman and his wife Ima are very kind people who made us feel right at home. Herman also got us a driver (Igbal; thank you for everything!) who gave us a few amazing tours around the area.

The room is not super comfortable, but okay. The mattress is quite hard and a lot of animals managed to get inside our room and bathroom. At night there is a lot of sound from the jungle, but that also made the experience very authentic. Because of the low price and the amazing location we weren't bothered by any of this, but thought you should know if you prefer more comfort.
