Laa Cabana Lombok Glamping

even though the quarter prayer starts at 5 am in the morning the bed was so comfortable with the mountain fresh air. I slept for eight hours. Even the shared bathroom was excellent. More cabins being built and everybody should visit this little town.

Quite a lot of steps, but if you’re booking this type of accommodation, you should be fitting enough to stay here. Nowhere near a complaint just information.

We absolutely loved our stay at LaaCabana. The setting is spectacular, surrounded by mountains, farmland and incredible views of Mount Rinjani. Waking up there every morning to delicious Lombok coffee and omelettes for breakfast felt genuinely special. Reno and Antony have created much more than accommodation. LaaCabana is a beautiful project with real heart, offering an authentic Indonesian experience with wonderful people. A huge thank you to Iwan, Ari and Dani, who took such good care of us and were always smiling and willing to help. I strongly recommend joining the activities they organise. Hiking Bukit Kondo was magnificent, exploring the area by motorbike showed us the beauty of their land, and having dinner with the family was a truly memorable and enjoyable experience. We were genuinely sad that we did not have time for the Secret Gilis trip or the cooking class. The landscape is unforgettable, but the people are what make LaaCabana truly special. We left with wonderful memories and will return to learn how to prepare sambal.

Laacabana est un lieu extraordinaire où l’on vit une véritable immersion au cœur de la culture locale à Lombok. Grâce à Antoni et Reno, nous avons eu la chance de participer à des activités telles que la découverte d’ ateliers de sarong, la fabrication d’objets en bambou ou encore des cours de cuisine locale. Nous avons également fait une magnifique randonnée avec vue sur le Rinjani et découvert de superbes cascades dont nous nous souviendrons toute notre vie. Toutes les personnes que nous avons rencontrées grâce à eux étaient chaleureuses et bienveillantes. Cette expérience nous a permis d’apprendre énormément sur la culture de Lombok.

Fantastic staff! Everyone made us feel very welcome and organised trips so that we could experience Lombok. The location and glamping accommodation is also really good and fits perfectly with the mountain/jungle setting.
