Laid-back, non-intrusive but ready-to-be-availed-of personal warmth and helpfulness of the hosts; a wonderfully quiet, restful environment; a chunky omelette made by the owner himself.
There was nothing to dislike. If I were to suggest one thing: a kettle would have been welcome for making tea or coffee given the chilly evenings. I don't know if it was oversight that one was missing from my room, and I'm sure it would have been remedied if I had mentioned it, but I only stayed one night and I didn't want to disturb the hosts. Hosts (pleasant ones like these) deserve their own undisturbed downtime too!

The family who runs this homestay were lovely. Very friendly and made an excellent breakfast for us. The rooms are basic but very comfortable. Very well located with a view of the volcano (when it’s not cloudy).

Good location, good breakfast and nice owner with his coffee plantation .
It was cold at night, no heating system available, no hairdryer, little hot water available.
