Coughing, clomping, coffeeless, but otherwise quiet and cool.

Nice terrace outside in front, in the shade. Roomy inisde.

Windows all on one side and small, so it was a cave. Smelt of damp and mould, got a cough. Landlady upstairs, clomping noisily, likely to come barging down anytime. Helpful but spoke no english. Stove didn't light and wifi didn't work well, even after landlady and a passerby tried to help. Stove eventually lit.

The host was a polite sweet lady, always ready to meet your needs and just a message or a call away. Thank you Mrs Anna!

I visited for professional reasons that kept me away all day. Being away all day and returning late at night, the lack of central heat and the humidity could be felt, despite the portable air heater the Host immediately brought, once I had let her know that the pellet stove situated in the kitchen would not transmit the heat to the bedroom.

Lovely apartment with all you need within walking distance.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and cannot fault it at all. Would definitely stay again! Extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. Superbly located just 2 minutes walk from bars, a restaurant, a supermarket and cashpoint in the delightful small town.

Checking in and out was a little difficult. On arrival we could not contact owner on the number we had been given on our paperwork. Another guest at the property gave us a different number and, once we reached the owner she arrived quite promptly with the keys. We were asked to contact the owner to check out and we sent texts and phoned but got no reply.

Excellent accommodation for a couple

The location and the apartment were wonderful. Monticiano is a lovely village and the apartment had a lot of atmosphere. Anna was a very good host who made sure we were comfortable.

The shower was usually great but had limited warm water at times. This was a bit difficult to predict. The WiFi was somewhat unreliable downstairs but worked well enough.

Good value apartment in small village

The apartment was clean and easy walk to the main square. The host was very friendly. We had my son join us at last minute so they put us in a larger apartment without fuss.

An electric kettle and microwave would have been nice to have

Ottimo!!

Paese molto carino e tranquillo, ottima base per le escursioni in zona, prima fra tutte San Galgano. Abitazione tipica della campagna senese, molto ben curata e pulita. Parcheggio a soli 50 mt dall'abitazione facilmente percorribili con una valigia importante, due zaini in spalla ed una bimba per mano!! L'altro parcheggio è a circa 200mt dall'abitazione e tutt'altro che disagevole. Entrambi gratuiti. L'host e la mamma esattamente disponibili e cordiali altissimi. Location da tenere in conto per un prossimo viaggio!

Un soggiorno piacevole

Struttura elegante e pulitissima al centro del paesino, dotata di cucina e di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno piacevole. Parcheggio vicinissimo quando è libero, se no si trova poco lontano. Bar dove fare colazione, enoteca e supermercato comodissimi, a due passi. Divano letto comodo. Bagno ampio con doccia spaziosa. Comunicazione con i proprietari efficace.

Il divano letto si trova in soggiorno e a chi, come me, è abituato al buio completo consiglio di portare una mascherina per gli occhi perché la porta dell'ingresso è a vetri e la luce della strada e delle auto che passano illumina l'interno, stesso discorso per quella solare la mattina.

La pulizia è l’appartamento ben curato e ben gestito come cura di rutto ciò che si ha bisogno. Apprezzato molto il fresco che si ha durante la notte nonostante non ci sia il condizionatore

Séjour exceptionnel

Tout. C’est un véritable petit nid douillet. On s’y sent comme à la maison. Il est très bien équipé. Le quartier est calme. Le village est proche de toutes les attractions : Sienne, San Giminiano,Volterra,Massa Marittima., le val d’Orcia….
