You can visit warm springs at Petriolo (15 Km) and the Warms of Galleraie (26 km). You can easily reach Siena (30 minutes by car) Massa Marittima (40 minutes) San Gimignano (50 minutes) Florence and Pienza (1 hour) or the coast. A bus service connects Monticiano to Siena, Massa Marittima, Grosseto and Follonica. Recreation: You can have wonderful walks in the oak groves and chestnut woods or along clear streams which surround Monticiano and look for chestnuts and mushrooms. You can even watch hares, deer, wild boars and pheasants and go hunting with some local hunters. There is a reserved car park or you can ask for parking in a garage.
