About this house rental
All areas are entirely private and yours alone. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower head, the kitchen is well equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a proper family dinner, and the living room is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. There is also a garden at the side of the property.
Please note that the property has a flight of stairs to access the upper level.
Our check-in method is simple and convenient: Self-check-in is the only option, with the key securely stored in a key safe at the property.
Street public FREE parking is available right outside on a first come, first served basis.
You are wonderfully placed to discover the city. Green space is all around, with Blackford Hill and the Royal Observatory nearby for some of the finest views over Edinburgh, and the wide lawns of The Meadows a short stroll away. The historic heart of the city is easily reached on foot or by a quick bus ride, where Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the rewarding climb up Arthur's Seat all await. Closer to home you will find the lively cafes, pubs, restaurants and independent shops of Newington and Marchmont, along with Summerhall and the Surgeons' Hall Museums, while the National Museum of Scotland, Princes Street and the Grassmarket are all within easy reach. In August the whole area comes alive with Festival and Fringe venues.
Please note that a security deposit registration will need to be completed prior to arrival in order to receive the codes for check-in. No money is actually charged, but there is a pre-authorisation of 1 euro.
Please note: a Visitor Levy set by the local council applies to overnight stays in this area and is included in your total booking price. In Edinburgh, this is 5% of the accommodation cost per night, applied to the first 5 nights of your stay. It appears as a separate line in your price breakdown — there is nothing extra to pay on arrival.
