Norwich brings the soaring spire of its Norman cathedral, cobbled lanes through a well-preserved medieval quarter, and a castle museum housing art and local history. The Norfolk Broads stretch to the east, a network of navigable waterways, fens, and wetland habitats where marsh harriers, kingfishers, and otters can be spotted from the bank or a boat. Along the north coast, Wells-next-the-Sea has a Georgian harbour square and beach huts backed by pine woodland, Blakeney Point is home to grey seal colonies, and Cromer is known for its Victorian pier and fresh crab. Thetford Forest provides woodland trails for cycling and walking.

With everything on a single level and rooms leading off a central hallway, the apartment has a simple, open layout that makes getting around straightforward.
