Cute and totally functionally comfortable

You are literally in someone’s back garden that said a very large one - the management were pretty much absent but responded to 2 out of 3 of my messages - a little absent - no central heating but a air heater which once on for a few hours did warm up the cabin and the kitchenette & shower were good!

Perfect getaway

We booked a mid week short break in one of the larger cabins, Glencraig. The best cabin we’ve ever stayed in couldn’t fault it. spotlessly clean, unbelievably well equipped and looking out over fields. So quiet and peaceful day and night. The host Karen was lovely and she thought of everything, milk, coffee, tea, cereals,sugar salt pepper cooking oil and other items. There was a basket in the bathroom with literally everything that you might need if or forgot to pack. Lovely kitchen, with all the utensils you are likely to need. Bedroom lovely with wardrooms and dressing table. Very comfy bed. We loved it so much we are planning to return soon. If you like wildlife there are deer, red kites, buzzards and owls to be seen from the decking and seating area. A superb stay 10/10

Tranquil hideaway from the world

Completely tranquil place to stay and switch off from the world. All the equipment you need to self cater and cook a lovely meal (awkward eater) . Shower constantly hot and good pressure, which we loved after a salty day at the beach.

Excellent highly recommended

Modern spotlessly clean, comfortable, air-conditioning, heating, relaxing / lovely view just wonderful. So impressed with the guest book that includes personal recommendations for local restaurants and takeaways and even local mechanic should you need one. Also instructions for TV which features lots of options for sky sports movies, kids tv etc. We have stayed at many hotels, cottages etc in the UK but never seen such consideration from the owners with regards to the finer detail. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days.

Great cabin in the most relaxing setting

Excellent accommodation in the perfect setting. Cabin was very clean and had everything that was needed and so much more and some very nice touches that made our stay very welcome.

A super quiet place. Wonderfully equipped with everything you need, from milk in the fridge to cookies and everything in the bathroom. The only thing missing was a bedside lamp. The brochure with nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants was also helpful.

I must admit that the only major downside to our stay was that our cottage was directly across from the owners' house. Opening the cottage door made us feel uncomfortable due to the lack of privacy. The entire area is also monitored at every corner, but we couldn't find any information about this anywhere.

Everything we could want and more

Cabin fitted with top of the range equipment - and it all worked superbly. Kitchen equipment and utensils all of high quality. You could have forgotten your washbag bit the bathroom had everything you would need. T.V and sound system outstanding

The cabin we were in (Glengoyne) could have had better outside lighting as when we were there it was nice to sit outside in the evening

Luxury little hideaway

The cabin was exceptionally clean, and much bigger inside than it looks. Air conditioning was a blessing. Everything you needed for a home from home was provided with Complimentary fresh milk, biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar. Karen, was really welcoming and friendly upon arrival. Would I stay here again? Definitely.

Absolutely sparkling clean with exceptional attention to detail. You could turn up with just your clothes and still have everything you needed. A wonderful stay.

The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but we spent most of the time on the decking which was lovely. The dilapidated barns on the farm are a bit of an eyesore too.

Luxury lodge.. faultless

Absolutely amazing place.. I travel the country with my work and stay in some wonderful places.. this is by far in my top 5! I literally stay in hundreds of hotels and holiday accommodation over the year. This is ideal for pleasure or work. The facilities here are second to none! Sound system.. TV.. kitchen.. bathroom.. and living areas.. all high end fittings and equipment. WiFi is strong. Ideal for my work. You are not going to find better for the money. You literally get what you pay for..

Lovely cabin

Really lovely cabin in a gorgeous spot. The owner had really gone the extra mile, everything there you could need, and more. Milk, tea, coffee, biscuits & cereals to start you off. Plus the things you don't often find: cooking oil, vinagar, salt & pepper, shampoos, shower gels, toiletries you may have forgotten! Lovely decked veranda overlooking fields, our dog loved it.

The only thing we didn't like was going home.

We had a great weekend.

For us it is an excellent location. We use it when we visit a friend who has Alzheimer’s. We invite him, and his partner, round for a meal, so it’s important that is has good facilities, which it has.

We don’t like having to pay the owner £25/dog for our 2 dogs to accompany us. That bill put the price up by nearly 25%. Also, on this occasion, the salt mill was empty and there was no ladle or even a large spoon to serve food from the casserole dish.

Very comfortable cabin

Lovely well equipped cabin, with a pleasant view across a field. Good location near Norwich and about an hours drive from north and east coasts with lots to do nearer than that. Heritage Railway(s) not far away. Would have liked to have stayed longer, might be back. Helpful hosts, very good information in the cabin.

Nothing significant. Don’t be put off by having to drive past some derelict farm buildings to get to the gate, the actual grounds are very nice.

Fantastic views and large property

Clean and all on one level. Great added extras such as tea/ coffee/ toothbrushes etc! Outdoor view is fantastic too!

Minor points but were inconvenient- Gravel in car park hard to use a wheelchair on and when 2 other cars parked extremely hard to get out of- needs to be managed that don’t get blocked in. No WiFi as soon as 2nd cabin occupied. Not sure if WiFi issue overall or due to occupancy of other cabin as couldn’t see router in cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay, The location was great & the view's were beautiful, Having coffee on the decking in the morning with the birds singing & watching the deer' just so relaxing. The cabin itself was beautiful, comfortable and spotless It had everything you need including tea coffee etc, milk & cereals and in the bathroom were shampoos shower gel etc & The little touches of toiletries was great. We didn't meet the hosts but spoken to Karen on the phone and she was really friendly & helpful. We are already looking at dates to book a 2nd stay. Excellent!! Sharon & Mark xx

Peaceful - loved every minute of it

There is nothing not to like about this property. We booked, not for a break, but to visit an elderly parent who was relatively local. It was a lovely place to come back to in the evening

Amazing stay

Absolutely everything didn't want to leave. Very lovely hosts. Greeted us when we arrived and came to day goodby before we left. Any issues were dealt with promptly. (Only had one whilst we were there, which was through no fault of their own) amazing views loved the deer in the morning coming up to the cabin . Had everything we needed, including bowls out for the dog. We can't wait to return soon. Thank you

A few things are just pointers just gor if someonetravelling on there own. Access to decking wasn't easy for a wheelchair user. Shower couldn't be used due to no shower seat

A beautiful cabin and stay, providing everything you need for a few days of peace and relaxation.

Beautiful scenery, especially if you love the wildlife. We stayed in cabin 2 and we absolutely loved our stay. The owners supply you with binoculars, to view the local wildlife. We saw deers multiple times throughout our stay. Also, kites, hares, ducks and a few squirrels came to our balcony view. The owners provide a book which has been clearly given a lot of thought, providing you with all the information needed for the cabin facilities, places to visit and to eat. We visited blickling hall during our stay, along with norwich city centre, which is about 20-25 mins. We had a lovely meal at the Cosy club in norwich and a takeaway at the taste of Istanbul. They have thought of everything, including essential toiletries, including shower gel, shampoo, razors, make up remover pads etc. The owners had also provided us with a bottle of milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. They have Apple TV, Netflix, prime and other channels. You can also link up to your own accounts from other apps if needed. If you fancy reading a book, they have them and also children’s colouring, games etc. Air-con in bedroom and living room, only we used it as heating for the cold feb time of year. We absolutely loved our stay and would 100% recommend for anyone who wants a tranquil, chilled and relaxing stay. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The overall location as it was not to far to travel, and the position of the cabin overlooking the fields. The cabin was fantastic, well laid out with all amenities', with special extra touches like bathroom toiletries, breakfast cereals and milk in the fridge, little things that mean a lot.
