Wellsford Farm Retreat

After a long trip from the North , we were happy to have some peace and quite for a night before heading South again . The retreat is only a few minutes from Wellsford if you need the shops and amenities , but more importantly this was an excellent place to stay . Fully equipped kitchen , with a full sized fridge - farm fresh eggs and ice in the freezer :-), dishwasher and everything else you need . You can eat inside or outside , with comfy patio furniture and a wind shield . The bathroom has underfloor heating :-) , the bed is comfy , with ample storage for your bags and travel items ...it's modern and tastefully furnished and the hosts are lovely, generous people .

Wellsford Farm Retreat is among the best accommodations I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been around the world and New Zealand a few times. It has all the comforts and more, it’s small but perfect for two and with everything you might need, comfortable, clean and warm in both style and heating, as well as the hosts welcome. Lovely wide farmland views and super close to Wellsford.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

It had everything we needed, exceptionally clean, quiet location and great hosts. The fresh farm eggs were delicious. The location is very conveniently located and central to many areas in the region.
