Grateful for my stay

Very warm Hosts - I felt so welcomed by Daniel and Angela... A lovely Home, rural setting yet close to town and my Room such a sanctuary of comfort and convenience Thankyou : ) To have meals available and also have coffee etc in my Room... Dangela felt like wrap around comfort...The bed perfect for wonderful sleep...water pressure great ...Winter or Summer you'd find lovely Refreshment here : )

Our stay at Dangela Boutique Lodge was fantastic. The quality of the accommodation exceeded our expectations, and the welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would love to return in the future.

Not as Advertised.

It was convenient for purposes, the room was spacious and clean. Host was friendly. The location is beautiful in the forest and bird life plentiful - lovely birdsong in am.

This is not a Lodge it is a home stay - a family home. More amenities such as a safe, compendium, coffee and tea in the room rather than use the family kitchen need to be provided. We felt uncomfortable and did not use lounge as it was clearly a family home, being used by the owners and we felt intrusive. One of the reasons we booked was a pool (for exercise after a knee injury) and although it was peak summer the pool cover was on, so not conducive to being used and we did not use it. Breakfast was available at at additional cost as was dinner. We stayed three nights - no welcome amenity, not even a biscuit with a cup of tea during stay - unusual in New Zealand.

Beautiful location and such friendly hosts. Comfy beds and lovely bathroom facilities. Hop skip and a jump to Warkworth and beautiful Matakana. Thank you for having us. Next time we will visit you at your place of work for a wine tasting 😊

We obviously didn't read it properly as we didn't realise it was a room in their home and sharing their kitchen. They were so friendly though that that compensated for the misunderstanding on our part.

Expensive accommodation.

The B&B was in a pleasant location and the decor of the bedroom was tasteful.

I was surprised that we were actually staying in a bedroom in the host's house. If you wanted a cup of tea or put something in a fridge, you needed to share the host's kitchen. It was disappointing that breakfast was not included for a tariff of $190 per night. If you wanted dinner it was a drive along a gravel road to the highway to the next town for restaurants.

Great homely stay an hour drive away from Auckland. Angela is super friendly and makes you feel like home immediately. Cute location in a quiet area, with sheep nearby and a nice backyard with a heated pool. Highly recommend to stay here for an escape from the city or on the way up north!

A real Gem hidden away from the noise of civilization, but within the reach of it though. If you're looking for privacy, awesome views as well as superb comfort with a heated swimming pool and other facilities, you'll be treated as VIP here. Definitely gonna be back here!

A wonderful hideaway in which to relax in great comfort with excellent hosts Daniel& Angela

Daniel& Angela were wonderful hosts who made us feel at home & were very attentive in every way.The breakfasts were very good & they kindly cooked an enjoyable evening meal. The home nestles into an idyllic garden setting with glorious views & only bird song to listen to. The heated swimming pool was a bonus. It is amongst the best B&B,s we have stayed at in our extensive travels in NZ & overseas.

Our stay was very comfortable and had great facilities including a pool and outside eating area.

Breakfast was more than adequate and there were lots of choices of fruit/cereal/toast etc. All food was carefully prepared and presented, The lodge is situated a short drive away from Warkworth and is surrounded by tress and greenery. Daniel and Angela were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home.

Awesome and Restful B&B

The pool was fantastic and Daniel and Angela were so welcoming. We felt like VIPs. The food was great and we were able to spend our time there without any interuption.

It was all good. Obviously being a B&B we didn't have the house to ourselves but we didn't feel bothered by anyone else there.

Lovely hosts, attended to our questions. Stayed upstairs and we had the place to ourselves. Big and comfortable room. Would love to come back to try the salt water pool.

Tout! Daniel et Angela sont très très sympathiques. Ils ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable. 😊 l endroit est très calme, le jardin magnifique, et même peignoir de bain tout douillet en sortant de la piscine 😉 Nous reviendrons, c est sûr!
