A special retreat for anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and extraordinary places. Our historic railroad signalman’s cottage, built in 1870, was thoroughly renovated and carefully restored over the course of five years with great dedication. It is located on the edge of a quiet residential neighborhood in the small town of Neu Wokern, surrounded by lush greenery.

The town has a train station offering hourly service during the day toward Güstrow/Rostock and Hamburg, as well as toward Teterow/Neubrandenburg/Pasewalk—each with connecting trains to Berlin.

The small town of Teterow is also easily accessible by car or bike. Here you’ll find a variety of shopping options, restaurants, cafés, a small theater with an arthouse cinema, a museum, an art gallery, and Lake Teterow with Burgwall Island, a natural swimming beach, and sightseeing boat tours.

The historic railroad guard’s cottage has been carefully restored. Natural materials such as clay plaster, clay paint, real wood parquet, and wooden floorboards create a warm atmosphere where history and modern comfort blend together.

With 135 square meters of living space, the house can accommodate up to 8 people, plus an extra bed for toddlers up to 3 years old in a travel crib. You’ll find three bedrooms, a cozy lounge, a spacious living area with a fireplace, a separate study, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a rain shower and a separate toilet. 

For large families or small groups, two additional sleeping spots can be provided. Please contact us after receiving your booking confirmation to coordinate the details.

For families, a crib, high chair, games, and plenty of space to run around are also available.

The 2,000-square-meter natural garden invites you to linger with its old fruit trees, fire pit, lounge, outdoor seating area, and grill. Whether it’s breakfast in the great outdoors, an evening by the fire, or simply peace and quiet in nature, here you’ll find space to unwind. With a little luck, deer, rabbits, and other animal visitors will keep you company during your stay.

• Bedroom 1: Double bed 200 × 200 cm (walk-through room)

• Bedroom 2: Futon beds 140 × 200 cm

• Bedroom 3: Bunk bed 90 × 200 cm



It is possible to set up 2 additional sleeping spots upon request.

We’re also happy to provide a travel crib for children upon request.

Note: For bookings of up to 4 people, the base rate includes one bedroom with 2 futon beds. Additional bedrooms can be booked for an extra charge. Please contact us after receiving your booking confirmation.



Check-in is from 3:00 to 00:00, and check-out is from 05:00 to 11:00.
