About this house rental
Upstairs, we have a mezzanine (with a trundle bed for a 1.80m or 2*90 bed) and we can add a folding baby bed; a toilet; a bathroom with a bathtub and a new 300l water heater; a children's bedroom (new mattress) with games and books; a 3rd bedroom with a 1.60 cm bed (new bedding) and a wooden cot for baby, storage shelves. We can, therefore, accommodate 2 babies and 7 people, a capacity of 9 people. Our house is very pleasant to live in and well exposed to the sun.
Our house is heated only with a wood stove with a protective grill for children. In winter, the heat spreads throughout the house and the temperature is very pleasant.
Our garden is enclosed. A wicket gate allows access to the garden from the outside.
We have installed solar films on the skylights and the glass of the scullery door, which means a heat gain of between 5 and 7 degrees. We also have 2 new silent fans, in case of a heat wave.
In the garden, we have a terrace with a large table and a large parasol; a small children's table with benches and parasol, as well as a play structure for the children to climb.
We live at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac. Our neighbours are lovely. We have two parking spaces right in front of our house on our plot. Our house is quite recent (14 years old), bright and very pleasant to live in, with sunshine from morning to evening.
We are 100m from the greenway that connects Dinard (sea side) to Dinan (land side). The commercial area of Dinard is 5 minutes away by car or 10 minutes by electric bike by the greenway. We are 20 minutes from the beaches of Dinard by electric bike by the greenway. It is very easy to go to St Lunaire, St Briac or Lancieux by bike by the cycle paths. We are less than 10 minutes from the Rance dam, a really beautiful and unique place in the world. We are 10 minutes (car) from the city center of Dinard. We are 40 minutes from Mont Saint-Michel, a site recognized for its international reputation. Pleurtuit is a small town with a lot of shopping. You can visit Saint-Malo by passing by the Rance dam or by a boat shuttle. The crossing is magnificent and lasts 10 minutes. The boat drops you off at the foot of the Dinan gate, just in front of the ramparts. It's a very nice walk and no need to park in Saint-Malo, too convenient.
In Dinard, you have splendid walks, right by the sea, such as the Clair de Lune walk, from where you can see Saint-Malo just opposite and the bay of Dinard. At high tide, as well as at low tide, our Breton coast is magnificent.
We are 16 kms from the city center of Dinan. You can also taste oysters in Cancale on the port (23 kms) facing Mont Saint-Michel.
