Cost apartment

I liked this 2 floors house, the style, the intérieur. It was comfortable for 3 adults with 2 children. Very good location as well, next to the train station and not far from downtown.

Just few recommendations: 1) there is nothing in the kitchen for travelers who just arrived after a trip, I mean some tea bags or 3-4 capsules for a coffemachine. I mean I didnt even know which capsules I have to buy for this machine.. It would be nice to have a few reserves in the appartement. 2) no kitchen towel, no rag to wipe the table (but we have to leave everything clean and put on its places) 3) we left the house clean. Not to avoid paying the cleaning, just I dont like to leave the house untidy after myself. But to demand cleaning or to pay 30 euros for cleaning from the guests, I think, is not nice, since the guests do not stay for free. We paid our stay and the cleaning should be included in the price (as everywhere).

Good place to stay for family

Clean, quet, free parking on the nearby street, terrase , comfortable beds

The entry to the second bedroom is through the first bedroom. Maybe ok for family with kids, but not for three-four grown ups. Also, the host asked for 30€ for cleaning. It's ok, but I think it should be mentioned in the description of the apartament.

Okay place but terrible host

The location was nice. Small somewhat equipped kitchen with a newer shower and such.

Many things: Not enough toilet paper (nor toiletries) for 4 people for 3 days. When asked, owner was rude and hostile saying this property is “not a hotel”. Upon arrival, we were greeted by multiple messages and notes from the owner saying we have to clean the location before leaving or else “pay” a 30€ cleaning fee (which is not stated in the initial posting and this is booking NOT Airbnb). Keep in mind, when we arrived the rooms weren’t super clean by any means and all the dishes we used were dirty and had to be washed before use). He also sent a message on checkout saying if we wanted them to clean it (aka the 30€ option) to just “leave money on the table”. Yeah, no. In addition there’s mold around all windows and the bathroom. We initially assumed the bedroom was on the ground floor with a stair case up to the second bed. Turns out the main bedroom is in the basement down a metal spiral staircase that is missing pieces, shakes, and is super slippery. The person above us was stomping around all night. The mattress on the sofa is so thin you can feel every metal bar. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. Oh and the owner seems really combative about complaints.

Very nice apartment, situated only a short walk away from the old town and walls of St Malo and the amazing beachfront of St Malo.

Nice if you do not mind cleaning

Location is good, especially if you travel by train. Close to some supermarkets and simple fast foods. It was quite comfortable to get anywhere. The apartment has it all you need.

Cleanliness: the apartment offers the option of paying a fee for the cleaning or cleaning yourself. And the charge is not that small, but considering that it was not super clean in the first place (there is quite a heavy dust on the shelves, mold on back side of the door) - it would take a lot of efforts to properly clean it. We came there not to clean apartments and nobody travels for cleaning. Just include it in your price and make sure whoever cleans it makes it properly. Or announce that fee will be taken upfront (before it is booked). Another point (connected to cleaning) all the mops and vacuum cleaned is stored near the entrance taking a valuable space away from storing jackets and shoes. So you end up in the mess, which moves basically into the kitchen. Also toilet paper was a problem - we had to buy more than provided. for 4 people a couple of rolls is not enough.

Aside from the noise, we enjoyed our 2 night stay.

The location was great, about 200 metres from the train station and walking distance to the castle and old town. Nice courtyard. Our room was on the main floor which we appreciated, although the bedroom was downstairs. Loved having a coffee machine.

It was close to a busy intersection so traffic was noisy. Also we heard quite a bit of noise from the tenant above us late in the evening and early morning. We were not informed of the cleaning options (do it ourselves or pay an extra 30 euros) until after we booked. This should be made clear before booking.

Nice room, not so nice experience

Perfect location, close to train station & port Nice room. Other than the negative points our stay was good, for the one night we stayed it was fine.

While it doesn't mention anywhere in the description or the price information, after booking you get a message to either pay 30€ or do the cleaning yourself. To my question to the host we never got a reply. Upon arrival, you first have to dress the bed yourself. In total, we didn't feel welcome

Reasonable price and good location, clean the flat by yourself

Location is great, 3mins walk to gare et 15mins walk to intra muros. Bedroom is underneath so it’s colder than livining in summer which is better in the hearwave. Quite and safe neighborhood ,easy to communication with the owner

We need to clean the flat by ourselves when we check out (didn’t see that when I book the place) or need to pay 30 euros. The floor isn’s block the noise from upstairs, we can keep hearing people walking on the floor even we are on -1 floor

Not much. Convenient to the train station.

30 euro cleaning fee was not indicated in advance. And the apartment was dirty, still baby diapers in the waste bin. We had three groups of guests knock at our door who had not been contacted by the host with check-in directions. They thought we were the host or that we were in their apartment.p The check-in/out times indicated on Bookings were ignored by the host who shortened the available hours with the excuse of Covid cleaning. This was obviously false when we found an inadequately cleaned apartment to greet us. All in all a dissatisfying experience.

Quiet location, spacious apartment

-Not a friendly attitude from the owner, her first questions were if we will gonna clean after ourselves(or pay a 30€ tax) and at what hour we plan to leave. I was expecting some recommendations on what we can visit, places to eat, etc. -No disinfectant in the apartment.

The location was good. Friendly host. Wonderful shower! Comfortable mattress.

Could have done with extra pillows on the double bed - we had to use the cushions from the sofa. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable - it was fine for overnight but perhaps not for a long stay.

L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Saint Malo, le logement est tres jolie, le fait de pouvoir garer sa voiture (pour le plus grand appartement) est un vrai plus, le logement est bien équipé.

El apartamento es muy lindo. Cerca de los alquileres de coches y la estación de tren, barrio tranquilo. Lugar moderno y amplio.

La sorpresa de tener que limpiar o te cobran 30 euros más. Llegamos a las 22 hs y hubo que armarse la cama, nos retiramos a las 11 y tener que ponernos a limpiar con la tarifa que pagamos no fue cómodo. Tampoco lo vi aclarado en la descripción de Booking. La cama Matrimonial es pequeña.

Quartier calme. Facile à stationner. Très beau logement, attention les chambres se trouvent à l'étage inférieur en empruntant un escalier en colimaçon pas très large.

Sfeervol authentiek appartement

Mooi authentiek appartement wat stijlvol is ingericht op ongeveer een kwartier lopen van de binnenstad. Restaurants zijn er voldoende in de buurt en in parkeren is geen probleem. Slaapkamer was ruim en bedden waren goed, de woonkamer ruim en de keuken voorzien van alle relevante zaken zoals waterkoker, koffieapparaat etc. Bedden voor de kinderen zijn goed maar ook echt voor kinderen. Badkamer was moder. En schoon. Parkeren in de buurt is geen probleem.

De bedden voor de kinderen waren geplaatst in een ruimte onder de trap. Waren uitstekende bedden maar is niet een echte aparte kamer. Onze zijn heeft daar verder uitstekend geslapen. Het parket in de woonkamer kraakt een beetje.

Es war einfach nur schön.

Es war super, und hat alles gefallen. Kurzer Weg vom Bahnhof, netter Kontakt.

Nicht gefallen kann man nicht sagen. Ich hätte mit ein paar Haken gewünscht, ein scharfes Messer, ein Brettchen und eine größere Pfanne. Aber was soll’s, man kann sich das besorgen und wir haben uns in der Wohnung wohl gefühlt.
