About this apartment rental
Begin with a slow breakfast on your ocean-view lanai, then walk into the heart of Kailua-Kona before the day gets warm. This third-floor, two-bedroom, two-bath condo sleeps four and pairs a full kitchen with air conditioning and a breezy, high-ceilinged living area. After a morning at Kamakahonu Beach or snorkeling in Kailua Bay, come back for a dip in the on-site pool, a soak in the hot tub, or a barbecue in the covered community seating area. Shops, restaurants, luaus, and historic sites are all close enough to leave the car parked. The mix of actual walkability and an easy place to cool off makes this a thoughtful fit for a couple traveling with kids or friends who want Kona's energy right outside the door.
The Space:
On the third floor, this two-bedroom, two-bath condo makes the most of its ocean-view lanai and high-ceilinged living room. Reclaimed koa and sugi wood accents, along with antique Hawaiian touches, give the interior a personal sense of place. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan keep the space comfortable, while the full kitchen and open layout make it easy for four guests to settle in.
Guest Access:
Guests at A Little Aloha enjoy access to a shared outdoor pool and hot tub right on site in downtown Kailua-Kona. The condo offers a private entrance and patio or balcony space for relaxing outdoors. Beach access is close by, making it easy to enjoy Kona's coastline during your stay.
The Neighborhood:
Downtown Kailua-Kona is for the family that likes to walk out for coffee, shave ice, dinner, or a sunset look at the water. Kamakahonu Beach and Kailua Bay are close for a quick swim or snorkel, and the historic waterfront gives a beach day some local context. Ali'i Drive continues south to other beach stops, including Kahalu'u Beach Park for snorkeling. This is not a secluded resort setting. It is a lively, practical Kona base where you can fill a day without making every outing a car trip.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is about 10 to 15 minutes away, making arrival simple. A rental car is recommended so you can explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Downtown Kailua-Kona's shops, restaurants, and oceanfront Ali'i Drive are often within walking distance or a short drive, with beaches, snorkeling spots, and grocery stores close by. Parking is generally available on site or nearby, whether street or lot.
Other Things to Note:
The lofted guest bedroom has no door and is partially open to the living area below. The shared pool is unheated. Elevators are not available. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.
