The number that the property gave me didn’t work. I managed to get in touch eventually via booking.com and was told they were having a changeover of numbers (not sure why they didn’t update the number). The heating did not work. I mentioned this to them numerous times during my stay, but nobody called me or came to the property to sort the issue. I was asked to send a video but this was impossible as the WhatsApp number they gave me is inactive and you’re not able to send a video via booking.com’s message requests. I told them to stop sending a message this way and to either WhatsApp me or message me on the usual inbox on the booking.com app so we could communicate efficiently to no avail. To not have working heating during a 3 night stay is unacceptable in a property with single glazed, old sash windows. The property has 1 flight of stairs outside and 4 row of stairs up to the apartament. It wouldn’t be suitable for someone who is elderly or has a lot of luggage. Also, the parking is not on-site as they claim. It’s down a cobbled street further down from the property. There was one space available when I arrived which was so tight I had to climb out of my passenger side to get out of the car. No doubt the property will respond stating the heating came on after we realised the boiler was off but even after switching the boiler on, the heating dial was still not working properly which I did explain but wasn’t given any solution. The toilet seat isn’t fixed properly and there’s the odd unfinished parts of the renovation. There was rubbish underneath one of the chest of drawers in the bedroom when I arrived and the bedroom mirror wasn’t cleaned. The living room blind is practically see-through which is not ideal when there are buildings overlooking the property. I’m a genius level 3 member of booking.com and stay at numerous accommodations every month. This accomodation’s communication was terrible. I haven’t left negative feedback on here before.
