Original 1866 features have been immaculately restored, complemented by state of the art fixtures. Location, location, location, just metres away from the vibrant city shops and restaurants. The high specification, bright and contemporary décor apartment is perfect base for short and long term stays.
Situated on the ground floor of a former Welsh Chapel the Courtyard one bedroom apartment offers a unique city centre stay suitable for a trip to Chester Races, city or leisure weekends and the business traveller.
The boudoir Courtyard is a truly unique private outdoor space which is very rare within with city walls. Furnished with outdoor heaters and comfortable low chairs, its a haven to enjoy all year round.
Tastefully furnished in contemporary and minimalist style a stay in The Courtyard @ The Chapel will for sure be a very memorable trip.
Layout
* Bedroom – one double bed with luxurious bedding. Bright low windows onto the courtyard.
* Private Ensuite with dual shower head.
* Open plan cloakroom area for shoes and coat which leads to the wide patio doors to the courtyard
* An additional separate WC for any guests to use.
* Open plan lounge kitchen features high specification contemporary style kitchen briefly includes hob, oven, inbuilt microwave and fridge freezer.
* Lounge area featuring pull out spring mattress sofa bed, breakfast bar and with stools.
* Mezzanine level is accessed above the kitchen, is a dual space for either quite office space or can be used as chill out zone. (please note steps to the mezzanine are bucket style steps, steep in design so unsuitable for small children)
* The Courtyard is a truly special outdoor space installed with timer heaters, mood lighting, comfortable seating allowing you to enjoy all year round.
* Private entry is possible via the back Courtyard as well as the main Chapel entrance.

Mezzanine level is small & mattress not very comfortable, stairs up quite steep!
We end up bringing the mattress down to the ground floor! Would have been better if the settee was a bed settee for the third adult !

This place was amazing! Little touches like milk and juice, the brownies, sanitiser, everything was thought of. Was a lovely getaway to Chester with our two children. The apartment was very clean, extra blankets and towels, and it had everything you needed for food prep and cooking. Lovely host and could not recommend this place more. Thank you for making our time in Chester wonderful.

Absolutely adorable property! Booking was seamless and Janice was attentive to all communication and requests! Greeted by a home made cake and the kitchen was stocked with coffee (mes preso machine☺️), tea and enough milk for the first morning. Recommended!

The apartment is stunning and in a fabulous location in the heart of Chester. Beautifully styled and immaculate with a lovely courtyard garden - which also has heaters for cooler evenings. The apartment is just a short walk to everything you would want to visit in the City. In addition, there is a Tesco Express around the corner and parking outside with permits which Janice the owner gave us. We mostly ate out - the Jaunty Goat is great for Breakfast (only a 4 min walk away) and The Chefs Table brilliant for dinner although you definitely need to book - but there are loads of other lovely places to choose from. If you are visiting Chester and want something special with loads more space and style than any hotel room could give you - this is definitely the place to stay!
