The apartment was easily found, and the key system worked well. The flat is almost new, so everything was clean, including the cutlery, crockery, glasses, bath, basin, toilet and linen. All that is made easier of course because of the soft water of the area! There are views of the surrounding countryside from some windows, and it was nice to be able to open the main lounge windows onto the Juliet balcony, especially in the recent hot weather. All the appliances worked well, although the TV was rather short of channels. It was nice to have a CD player with proper speakers, too.
The bed was rather narrower than we are used to, and because the mattress is rather soft, it was difficult to spread to the edge of the bed, making it feel narrower still. The slip mats beside the bed were a hazard because they lived up to their name! We removed them.
