The location is excellent. The house is set away from the main road along a single track, giving a lovely feeling of privacy. The views over the lake are stunning, and it was a delight to see the sun rise over the mountains and enjoy our meals outside in the large garden. It is only a short drive to Solto Collina with a supermarket and excellent bakery, and the towns of Lovere and Riva di Solta are about 10-15 minutes away. The house has clearly been recently refurbished to a high standard. And although there was a heatwave when we stayed, the temperature in the house remained pleasant, as long as you close the shutters during the day. We stayed for 5 days, which filled easily with walking, stand-up paddle boarding and swimming in the lake, visiting Monte Isola and the local towns. Looking back, we would have extended our stay at Lake Iseo and enjoyed the house and area longer.

There was nothing to dislike. A few suggestions for improvements would include some practical items such as kitchen knives, washing machine tablets and a washing line, but also a folder with information about the local area as a starting point for exploring.
