Lake View - Old Mill Cottages

Easy check in. Lake View cottage was quite superb. Very spacious and delightful views. We we're then greeted by Hayley and Jamie. They we're ever so friendly and couldn't have been more welcoming. Any problems they said knock the door of their cottage. We took a stroll around the pleasant grounds. Later that evening we had a game of Tennis and went swimming. A shed of garden games was available too, which looked fun. Sleep was a dream on a comfortable bed. Very quiet and the waterfall outside our window was a quiet relaxing sound when bedding down with the window open. The location is decent. 5 minutes from Combe Martin, 10 minutes from Ifracombe and 20 minutes from Woolacombe. We visited them all. You can see why Woolacombe has won English beach of the year numerous times. Its a delight. Ifracombe harbour is a delight too and Combe Martin eve so chilled. North Devon is simply chilled out. The traffic is a delight too. Hardly any. Especially the A3123. A handy Tesco and Lidl a 10 minute drive away in Ilfracombe. A superb 4 night break from start to finish with excellent hosts.
