There's nothing quite like The Wheel House, a striking upside-down cottage within the original converted mill building, with a soaring vaulted ceiling, exposed roof trusses and a private enclosed garden. Three bedrooms sleeping 6, and a living space that genuinely stops you in your tracks.

The Wheel House is one of 9 individual cottages at Old Mill Cottages, set within 8 acres of North Devon countryside. Guests staying at The Wheel House have access to the estate's shared facilities:
Indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, book your own exclusive session (one per cottage, per day, 7am–7pm), for private, uninterrupted use
Full-size tennis court, shared and open access, no booking required
Shared laundry room, available on request
These are communal facilities used by guests across all 9 cottages. The pool and sauna are yours alone during your booked session, while the tennis court is open for all guests to use, and the laundry room can be arranged on request.
Dogs welcome, 30 GBP per pet per stay, max 4 dogs, bowls and treats provided on arrival.
Just a 7 minute drive from the charming coastal village of Combe Martin, with Ilfracombe and the Blue Flag beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde a short drive further. Ideal for families or groups looking for something genuinely different, with a private garden, a wow-factor living space and resort-style facilities on the doorstep.
